AS USUAL, the Malaysian Badwi and all those [expletive deleted] are again lying thru their [expletive deleted]. I was there in the group with Tien Chua and Malik Hussin, and another of our colleagues, [name deleted], was with me and a few other of the MC gang, most of them our juniors.
Tien Chua was beaten up by about 4 or 5 Siput Babis (not in uniform) when HE WAS DISPERSING. It was obvious that they were picking on him and were waiting in ambush just outside the CM on the riverside. The few others who were close to him were also bashed and one guy I think must have broken his arm, twisted beyond repair.
There was nothing sinister about the gathering. It was to lend moral support to DSAI in his hour of need (if u can call it that) and to hear the verdict first hand as it was handed down (as if we did not know yet). The crowd I was with were gathered at the side of the Str Trading Building at about half nine. Then the KL Deputy CID Chief (I think) Hadi Ho spoke and asked us to disperse as the crowd was deemed to be blocking traffic.
We headed for Mesjid Negara (in order not to block traffic) and were promised that DSWA will come herself to the Mesjid as soon as the verdict was known, to address the crowd (and maybe to say thank you). Of course like all other Banana Nasional promises, she was BLOCKED and was NOT ALLOWED to proceed to the Mesjid. On hearing this the crowd started to disperse. That's when the attack on Tien Chua started. He was walloped and bleeding from the left forehead and the mouth. And they also took away his handphone. It was when he was confronting a very senior officer by the name of Yusop (do not know his rank) and demanding for the return of his phone that the crowd got really worked up. (4/5 orang dah pecah kepala etc).
Credit must go to Tien Chua who was so cool and begged the crowd to control themselves, all the time reiterating, "Kita berkumpul untuk keamanan!" He demanded to make a police report to which this Yusop said to go to the Balai. TC refused and cited a law that says that any citizen can lodge a report to the police officer, anywhere. It was during this stand-off that the water cannon came and without asking to disperse, much less a WARNING, started ejaculating lime green liquid. Jadi....experiencelah aku kena sembur hujan hijau !!! They then handcuffed TC and Malik Hussin and dragged them to the vehicle, kicking and walloping away.....just like the gestapo in the movies.
That is the version as I saw it. No violence. No warning....just vvvvooooooshhhhh...
For ALL my friends....let us tell them. Enough is enough !!!! I thought if I were the Police Officer, "herding" the reformists on to the Merdeka Sq and policing them there whilst they awaited the verdict, wud have been the best option...for both sides... Police can keep a watchful eye and the reformists can lepak and relax on the Padang. But no.....they just wanted to tell all and sundry...they are the ones in the uniform. They have all the power !!!
We have no choice. We have TO CHANGE THE GOVERNMENT.
