I thought I was done with Soom Faery Legend dolls... ha. Well, I'd considered getting a girl faery, but was in no big hurry. Then this Metato showed up on the DoA Marketplace. He's the "Mini-Sard," but I already have a big Sard. But the wing design is so cool-- nice and spiky. And it's red with black accents--and little spots! Yes--I was in love with the wings!!!
Now, I had a few little problems with my Soom FL Auber--he had a broken wing--but that was easily replaced by Soom. And then the wing part didn't quite fit into the holes in his back... And he's a bit top-heavy with the wings and tips over easily... can't stand on his own anyway. But this guy seems a bit better strung. And his body is lightly blushed, so it's more matte and seems less slippery... I should MSC my Auber more! At any rate... I really love this guy. Lovely black wig and gorgeous face and faceup.
He is named after another Celtic god, since my Auber is Taranis... (Avernus is a Gallo-Roman Mercury.)
