I decided to include this page because most people would like to trace their native american ancestry. Tracing your native roots can be difficult because of lack of records, "trail of tears" situations, some of your ancesters might have thought at the time to leave the rez and become "Americanized" was a good idea. If you are like me, mix with african american blood, it can be even worse because no one wants to talk about it, and the "one-drop-rule" probably elimenatted or clouded some of your search of potentail ancesters that had more than any degree of native blood. To a degree, we all have some "measure" of native american blood. Even if it is 3/32. Later on, I plan on having my pedigree also called a family tree of my heritage. In the mean time, here are some sites that focus mainly on searching your native roots. I am not a Geneologist,thats why I am puting theses links here.
