ANKARA:
The city I love and owe so much... Ankara is my childhood; It is a city where you can live in a civilised manner. It is a decent, regular, quiet place. People are educated, polite, humble and proud. Life is simple there. There are values which are already forgotten. I wish ... Ankara has recently established a reinforced identity as the voice of nationalism, and Kemalism, but at the same time an enlightened positivism and Westernism. It is a contemporary, modern service city with good quality urban life. it is an attractive diplomatic centre for the Middle east and Former Soviet Republics (many of which are considered as members of the Turkish family).
