CPN Arizona is based in Avondale Arizona. I am the Regional Director, Bren Sessions, and the parent of Kim, who has spastic diplegia. You can read about her at Kimberly's Place.

Our Mission

Our Goals

1.)To provide a way for Arizona Parents to connect and share resources.
What has been done to reach this goal:
We have an e-mail list where people can keep in touch and get to know each other.
We have linked to the CPN message board for people who prefer to communicate in a forum atmosphere. You may use any name for anonymity.

2)To keep informed about new treatments and the type of services provided by other states and countries to ensure that Arizona services are up to the current standards.
What has been done to reach this goal:
As the Arizona Regional Director of the CPN, I am frequently in touch with the other directors and I subscribe to many newsletters and e-mail groups on this topic to keep current.

3)To file the necessary paperwork for non-profit status as a chapter of CPN. This will enable us to apply for grants and funding to assist our Arizona members.
What has been done to reach this goal:
CPN is currently running some fundraisers for this project. Visit the main site for more info.
4)To register our own unique domain name and find a reliable, fast, web server for our site. This will make it easier for the people who need us to find us online.
What has been done to reach this goal:
We are currently researching the most affordable options and using income generated from the sponsors, we hope to reach this goal asap.
*Update!! I am very happy to say that thanks to an unexpected donation we were able to register the domain name ArizonaCP.org! The name is registered for two years at which time there will be a $35.00 fee due. We are now using a site that does not have pop-up ads to be our new home. If you use the url: http://ArizonaCP.org you will be directed to the new site. The tripod site will remain as a back-up site at the URL http://Arizona_CPInfoshare.tripod.com

5)We would like to have an "Ask the Experts" type of newsletter where you can ask your questions and get feedback from Arizona practitioners.
What has been done to reach this goal?
I have begun contacting people in different fields and the response is favorable so once things can be coordinated and enough Arizona members join us, we will begin.
