Margo Dydek
Margo is from Poland and has played overseas in in Spain(Pool Gefafe 1996-1998), France
(Valenciennes orchies 1994-1996), and Poland(Pozan Olympia 1992-1994).She also plays for the
Polish National team,which will play in the Sydney Olympics.
Dydek was the first pick in the 1998 WNBA Draft and at 7'2" she can dunk,but doesn't want to.
During the 2000 season she averaged 9.2 points,3 blocks and 5.5 rebounds a game.Had a WNBA career
high of 27 points and 16 rebounds against the Comets 6/30/98.In July 2000 Margo was ejected from her
first WNBA game for giving Michelle Marciak a well diseirved whoopen.(Swatting Michelle after she fell
on her knees)Plus Margo was fined $250.Excellent job Margo, Marciak was asking for it!
Her sister Kashka 6'6" played pro in the ABL FOR THE Colorado Xplosion during the 1996-1997 season.
Her favorite music groups are Bon Jovi Boyz 11 Men, and Queen.Hobbies are reading books, wacting videos,
billiards, and going to the movies.Also so has a German Shepard named Paco, which she got as a
Christmass gift.
