Stacy Had a good rookie season almost winning the WNBA Free Throw competition.She averaged 10.6 minutes and 3 points a game during the 2000 season.She also hit a crucal 3-pointer with 9 secounds left in a game against Houston, which they almost won.Stacy's spending the WNBA offseason playing in France for a team that has no English speaking people on it.
In college Stacy won the 2000 3-point shooting contest during the final four in Phillidelphia.She was named to All-Big 12 first team 1998,1999, and 2000.Stacy was also the Big 12 New Comer of the Year in 1998.She also, being the phenominal player that she is, Stacy set Iowa State's single season record for assits (190), scoring (524) and 3-pointers made (100) in 1998.Not only that,but she broke two confrence records too.Her career high for points was 12/8/99 at Drake where she scored 34 points.Her career high for assits were 12 vs. Northern Iowa 12/21/97. She really smart too,making the 1999 Academic All-Big 12 first team. Stacy transferred from the University of Iowa after her first year.
Her parents are Bill and Donna Frese.She has one older brother Jeff and four older sisters.Her sister Brenda is the head women's basketball coach at Ball State and her other sister Marsh is her assistant.She graduated from Iowa State with a double major in marketing and management and minor in German.Would also like to get her MBA and get into sports marketing.
