Some Rebuilt engines have a 3year,or 60,000 mile warranty. > GUIDE IN INSTALLING USED JAPANESE ENGINES ALWAYS have a rod out service done on your radiator by a radiator shop, after you have run the engine. Not a flush, but a rod out. There is no exceptions on this! Some used engines come with residues inside their cooling passage that can get trapped in your radiator. ALWAYS use original oil sending units and temperature sensors and make sure they are in good condition. ALWAYS use the long block only. Never use any thing that came with the engine except the head and block. This includes switching the oil pan and the oil pick up screen to make sure they are not clogged up. This will help you avoid problems in the future. ALWAYS REPLACE THE FOLLOWING PARTS. Spark plugs...Oil...Cam seals...Thermostat...Oil filter...Water & Oil sending units ...Water pump...Gaskets...PCV valve...Timing belt...Oil pan gaskets Timing belt Tension...Front & Rear main seals. Prime the engine with motor oil first before starting. This will reduce initial wear start up on the motor. failure to fallow this installation guide will void the warranty. |
