My sister brought a tape of Garth Brooks with her for the trip. Everytime "The Dance" came on, I began to cry. I think this song has many meanings, and is not just about a romantic relationship. I thought about the long life that my grandmother had, and thought to myself how people would remember me when I pass away. I have undergone (by choice) challenges that some people probley couldn't handle and I hope that I will be remembered as someone who took chances but overcame it all for the sake of her family. I am truly happy, and i too, wouldn't have traded the pain if it meant missing "The Dance". (Because of this and other meaningful songs, I am now a major Garth Brooks fan.)...

I know a family that is not very rich at all, they scrape up money to give their children and their new grandson, (my godson),everything they need. That family has touched my heart in so many ways. I was born in a upper-middle class family 19 years ago and I never thought that I could be as close to a family like this. They are my inspiration. They are my best friends. They don't have a washing machine that works very well so they don't wash their clothes very often and they don't have any expensive clothes...but I think that their clothes are fit for me to wear...you to wear...God to wear...They are Fit For A King!

I would have to say that the song I like the best out of all of his would have to be "Fit For A King" off of Sevens. He has many others that I also like. It is very hard to chose between them all. I think "Fit For A King" really sends a message. Maybe if more people took this song to heart. This world would be a better place.
