Our girls, Rachel, Rebekah, and six year old Sierra, are all interested
and involved with the horses. Rachel has shown in open and 4H shows
since she was 10, and Rebekah has shown leadline and walk-trot since she was 2 yrs. old.
Rebekah began learning about horses when we aquired Katie Star, a patient, old, POA. Katie
gave Sierra and Rebekah years of joy until the arthritis in her knee
made it too uncomfortable for her to tote the kids around anymore. Katie is now a companion to a miniature donkey and is
enjoying her retirement. Rebekah now owns a new pony named *Denali Snowstorm*. We bought her in Oct.1999. She is a sturdy, foundation-style Appaloosa mare approx. 13 yrs. old. Her background is unknown. She has taken alot of work to train her for show-ring riding, but has been well worth the time. She is shown Western & English, and has won many 4H purple ribbons, and a 4H State Int. Huntseat Championship in 2002. She is a fantastic trail horse along with being Rebekah's 4H project for the last three years.
