John grew up on the planet Fortuna (origin place of the Lylat System's Arctic Foxes due to its cold weather) with his parents (this was while Fortuna was under Venomian control). He was an only child and his parents were leaders in a revolutionary movement to kick Andross' forces off the planet. As a child, John loved arwing sims and played them constantly. He even flew in an Arwing (his dad was rich) on his 12th birthday as a present. Unfortunately his parents were discovered as leaders of the revolutionary movement when he was 13. One night (he was 13 at the time) he was awoken abruptly in the middle of the night by his parents. They quickly rushed him up to the attic saying that the troopers were coming and not to come down out of the attic no matter WHAT until the troopers left. John was up in the attic watching through a hole in the ceiling when the troopers seized his parents. One then called out that if he didn't come out they would kill his parents. He was about to come out when he heard his mother scream, "Don't come out they'll kill us anyways and then kill you!!!!" John quickly ran back up the attic stairs before the lizard troopers saw him. Unfortunately they heard him and dragged him down the stairs. Leon (yes Star Wolf's) then began slowly torturing his parents to death- making him watch. The troopers then began beating John up and threw his parents, now dead, on top of him (they thought he was dead- he was only playing dead). He lay there all night not moving a muscle for fear they would return, find him alive and kill him. He sat there all night in a pool of his parents' and his own blood all night. It was by far the worst day of his life. (sniff, sad isn't it) In the morning, John found a starport and went in search of Leon. He hijacked a Wolfen II and flew it to Corneria to begin a new life. He bought a fake I.D and claimed he was 18, and joined the Cornerian Air Force. He started enlisted and flew a small fighter on the Cornerian Cruiser Malevolent. After saving the ship single-handedly (long story), he was awarded the Cornerian Alliance medal of honor and offered an officer's commision with only one year's training. John graduated with flying colors and jumped from 2nd lieutenant to first after 6 months. After another six months, he jumped from 1st lieutenant to captain (next rank) and was assigned an Arwing. After souping it up, he began his own campaign against Venom with General Pepper's permission. John now fights to destroy Andross and all that he stands for- especially Leon- in his parents' name. As of now he is 16 and has owned up to the fact that he joined the Cornerian Air Force WAAAY under age. Pepper has "forgiven him," stating that he won't lose one of the best darned (he actually used a more---umm--- colorful word than this) fighter pilots in his fleet.

Ship Class: Warbird, similar to arwing with these exceptions: little less manueverability but can reach the same speeds just as fast as the arwing. This increases people's accuracy in their shots against him. However due to this sacrifice in manuverability he has a minimum armament of twin lasers and a maximum armament of Super Lasers. Everything else is the same on the craft as the arwing including armor and all!
