Parents,
This fundraiser will raise money for the troop account which will benefit ALL
scouts. We need YOUR support to make it successful. While spring cleaning,
set aside all those unwanted items and donate them to the tag sale! The West
Avon Congregational Church is allowing us to use their facility to hold the
tag sale. The tag sale will be on Saturday, May 20, from 9:00am until
2:00pm. We will be collecting items for the tag sale the morning of the tag
sale. This is a very short amount of time to collect items, therefore, we
will need your help in tagging and separating the items BEFORE you drop them
to us. WE will have several tables set up and the items will be placed on
the tables by price. Dollar values for the tables will range from 50 cents
to $10. Please individually tag all items you believe to be higher than $10
in value. Remember, we want to price these items to sell. Arrangements can
be made to drop larger items at the church on Friday night. IN addition to
the tag sale, we are also having a bake sale. We will need baked good
donations to be brought to the church between 7 and 8:30am as well. We will
need MANY volunteers to make this event run smoothly. We will have a
volunteer sign-up sheet at the dessert social. PLEASE help support this
fundraiser and the troop. Note: There are some items we cannot accept.
They include: large appliances, large furniture, any gas or flammable items.
