Eligibility for admission is based on a number of factors:

..... The patient must be between the ages of birth and seventeen years.

..... The patient must have an orthopaedic problem or condition.

..... The patient's family must not be able to afford private care.

In addition, there are medical criteria which will be used to determine eligibility, such as but not limited to:

..... Does the risk of surgery or treatment justify the benefit to the patient?

..... Is there likelihood for improvement in the function?

..... Does the patient have a reasonable expectation of becomming independent?
