For you, my beloved Sammi
With a shattered heart, I am saying good bye to my Sammi. Sammi was our Tiel, and tonight, 1-13-99, she flew to the Rainbow Bridge. Sammi was 7 years old and Daddy's little girl. We have had her since she was 4 weeks old. Dr.Henderson did all he possibly could to save our Sammi, but it just was not meant to be. To you, Dr. Henderson, and also to you, Dr. Briggs, thank you for all that you both have done for all of my birds over the years, for the warmth, love and real concern you have shown for them, and thank you for the extra steps you took in trying to save Sammi. It will never be forgotten.
Fly free and high, Sammi girl. One day Mama and Daddy will come to The Bridge to claim you again. You gave us love, happiness and joy. With tears in our eyes and broken hearts we bid you farewell. We will always love you and never forget you. Now you go, fly high and free......
