Has anyone ever seen an Angel? You have now. Now matter what a person believes I truly believe that Lynn was sent to me by God..I met Lynn when my Mother was diagnosed with breast cancer many years ago..I needed help with something on aol and could not get an answer. Lynn was the only one who answered a question I posted on a board and there started our friendship. We went through so many hard times together as well as good times..
It was Lynn that forced me to learn to make a website because she has started her own. She did not want to do it alone..So I kicked the idea around, like I had a choice anyway LOL, and BBS Perch On The Web was formed. I knew nothing about html or graphics..And, of course, I had to do it in raw html too. Lynn did not use editors and therefore I could not either..She was the Boss Teacher and I the student..She went so far as to buy me Paint Shop Pro for my Birthday one year and told me I had no reason to not do it now.. And she was right. She went further than I was able to go mainly because after years of good health my Moms cancer came back.
In the meantime, we met other wonderful Ladies online and formed a special group of our own..The Alters..We all cried together, shared pain as well and happiness. We grew as women. Some went their separate ways. Others stayed..We became a family online..
My Mother was very ill,dying from cancer for what seemed an eternity. She passed on December 15, 2001. Lynn was still with me, helping me, calling me, crying with me..
Not too long later Lynnie was called home by God..Her work was completed. Her Angel duties were over. She no longer had to help me while my Mother was dying..She now left the job to Carol and Beth, my other Angels, to help me get through the rest.
Lynnie aka SB, wherever you are, I know you are looking down upon all of us and laughing at us. I just want you to know that I miss you so very much and the world is just not the same without you in it. I miss your accent and YES you do have the accent and not me.. :)
