Inspired by a portrait of young Elizabeth at age 13,
this gown is made from a perfect scale brown silk brocade
with black, rust and gold threads.
Tiny hand beaded braid decorates the front skirt.



Silk dupioni underskirt is held in place by a cotton farthingale
(wired petticoat) Black silk dupioni oversleeves
are trimmed with tiny strips of real mink.
Dark gold undersleeves that match the underskirt
are trimmed with a band of black china silk that matches
the china silk undersleeves.
A gold cross hangs from a chain on her waist.



The necklace is made with glass pearls and
Austrian crystal pendant.
Hand beaded headpiece of black silk holds back her long red hair.
