These are the monitors that show robot activity


    This is the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center's STK Silo.
Each of the two units hold up to 6000 tapes cartridges and have two
robot arms to mount the tapes in the tape drives. The unit on 
the left has 8 STK tape drives and the one on the left has 4 STK
drives and 4 IBM 3590 tape drives. The tapes have barcode labels
which allows the robot LED scanners to read the labels. The monitors
allows visitors to the center to watch the robots mount or dismount
tapes.
