You should know from the very beginning that I have been an avid Susan Lucci fan for many, many years. So MY version of how I'd like the soap she stars in ( AMC) to be written, will be slanted in her favor. If you are not an "ERICA KANE" fan this is most likely not the place you will care for. Also, here is a list of the characters in AMC that I totally dislike! 1.MARIA 2.EDMUND 3.BOBBY 4.ANITA 5.ESTHER 6.PALMER 7.OPAL 8.DR. JOE 9.RUTH & 10.TAD They pretty much rank in that order, too, so don't look for any favorable mention of them here, for you will be extremely disappointed.This is after all my page, so expect noth- ing less than my slant on things, because here there is only one way thru Pine Valley - *MY WAY*.

Why did I dream such a crazy thing. I don't want her baby, I'm having
my own, I heard Joe say my baby is okay. Thank God! "
"What are the nurses saying about Maria? She accepted a position in California and left to get settled before her baby is due? How's that?
Edmund is leaving too, just as soon as he wraps up a few things? What about my book? "
"Oh, if only I could reach that buzzer, there, yes - yes. Gotta .... yes!

So now Erica has finally made her way back and the nurses are over
joyed and as she finally regains her voice,weak but audible, Dimitri enters and is jubilant and promises her the moon as usual.
They make their plans to redo the wedding at WILDWIND, as Dimitri reclaimed it and has been busy redecorating it because he refused to believe that his darling Erica and their son wouldn't be coming home to it and him.
As they plan the nursery layout, Dr. Joe enters the room and is totally amazed at the recovery that Erica has achieved. It was only last night
that he told Ruth that when the time came that he was going to talk to Dimitri about taking the baby if Erica started to waste away. He never expected to see this, Erica and Dimitri babbling away like two teenagers on prom night. Maybe there are a few miracles left after all! * (...to be continued...)
Well it's been a couple of months now and Erica & Dimitri's wedding was the social event of the year. Erica looked stunning, even though she had been totally exausted from all the shopping, fittings and the hands-on arrangements for the wedding. Not to mention the exaustion of pregnancy. This one seemed so much different from the others.
The nursery has been completed and is a scene right out of Paradise.
Well, here we are, waiting for Dimitri to get home so that he can take Erica to her appointment with Dr. Joe. Erica is on the phone with Opal: "I just don't know why I'm gaining so much weight with this precious little darling. Opal, I swear he's active enough for ten little boys! HAaaaa...haaaaa. .......No....I'm getting plenty of rest. Yesss.....I'm taking my vitamins...going for walks..... with Dimitri,......I was in for another round of tests Friday....We'll know more today, I have an appointment with Joe at 2o'clock. Yes.....Opal I'll call you this evening, Dimitri is here now and we really must leave now".
Erica & Dimitri were no more seated when Dr. Joe enters, looking like the cat that ate the canary. "Well......I have GOOD news and I have GREAT news!!! First,....everthing is fine, all the tests came back okay.
The other news comfirms what I suspected Friday, I thought then that there was a second heartbeat. CONGRADULATIONS! YOU'RE HAVING TWINS!. * (...to be continued...)
