I am the owner of a 1982 Datsun 280ZX (Bambi). Bambi is a non turbo GL model that is fully race equipped with Koni 5 bump adjustable shocks on each corner, front and rear adjustable sway bars, stiffened frame, etc. In the near future I will be installing a Chevy 350 V-8 into Bambi (anyone who has done this before and could offer their expertise please drop me a line at buzz@forpresident.com). I will be using an early 70's motor that I have rebuilt with a mid 80's camaro tranny. At the bottom are some links to sites that are V8 Z related.   


Ok.... Scratch that... (4 months later than the above...)  May 21, 1998. I wrecked Bambi...
We slid sideways into a telephone pole...  The car was totaled upon impact... One of my best friends was in the passenger side at the time, and suffered from 2 broken legs and a crushed nerve.....

So, for obvious reasons, my plans have been delayed for a few years... BUT!  My love for the Datsun zcar didn't die upon impact... and will lead me to the purchace of another zcar in the future.
