In 1996 the lovely singer of Miranda Sex Garden
  Katherine  Blake  met  Dorothy  Carter. They both
  enjoyed the music of this romantic period. Kathe-
  rine then had  persuaded  some of her friends. So
  by the summer of 96 Mediaeval Baebes were formed.
  

    Six months  later  the  girls  were  signed  to 
  Virgin/Venture. They  were signed on the strength
  of their demo tape,with  their sound and gorgeous
  looks with penchant of dressing romantically,made
  for great marketability. Only Katherine Blake has
  been classically trained, but their voices toget-
  her are beautiful nonetheless.

    The Mediaeval Baebes  are  often compared to the
  Spice Girls in regard to  the  songs of tha t time
  period, that  and  their  sauciness  and in brazen
  attitude. The Baebes are made up of:

   Teresa Casella, Nicole Frobusch, Claire Ravel,
   Ruth Galloway, Carmen Schneider, Cylindra Sapphire,
   Nichole Sleet,  Rachel Van Asch, Marie Findley,
   Karen Lupton, Audrey Evans & Katherine Blake.
