Exclusive interview with Shannon Ward

I'd like to say thank you again to Shannon Ward for being
so gracious as to answer my questions. All the best to her.
This interview is exclusive to Dead Scream and was
conducted by the web girly, me.

Jessica: Firstly congratulations on your marriage, all the best
to you both. Thank you for your time in answering the questions,
it is truly appreciated wicked badly.

Shannon: Thank you for taking the time, Jess.

Jessica: Now that you've had a taste of it, is wrestling a route
 you'd like to pursue presently?

 Shannon: Most definitely.

Jessica: From magazine articles and your site we know of you love
of playing soccer. Could you tell us a little more about the soccer
 teams you are playing on?

Shannon: I play on a co-ed soccer team with my husband on Sunday nights,
and a ladies indoor team on Thursdays.

Jessica: Your wrist and back pieces are stunning, have you collected
anymore pieces since you were last on WCW television?

Shannon: Nope, I only have the two.

Jessica: If you were able to choose, would there be a specific
character you would like to play on film, or one you'd like to
 create custom for yourself?

Shannon: I think the smaller eccentric characters in film are much
more interesting to perform and watch. I don't see myself playing
one specific character, but a wide variety over a long period of time.

Jessica: Here's another wrestling question, this is in regards to WWF
purchasing WCW, taking into consideration the dangling fate of ECW,
do you see the purchase as a good thing?

Shannon: Hopefully it will be a great opportunity for the wrestlers.

Jessica: We all know and enjoy the screaming, do you need to warm up
 before you go out?

Shannon: A little, but not much because I didn't want the fans to hear.

Jessica: Because it appeared seamless on television, getting out
there and wahey, volume, and is it taxing on your vocal cords?

Shannon: On the odd occasion I would get a little sore, but it was
usually gone by the next day.

Jessica: Were you given any warning before you were released?

 Shannon: Nope.

Jessica: What is your favourite, non-sporting activity?

Shannon: I love to read. I like horror, fiction based on fact,
true crime, political books, and really anything that can hold
my interest. I also love to see live music, and since I have a
husband who plays live almost every weekend, it works out very well.

Jessica: Have you ever had a truly bizarre fan experience?

Shannon: No, not bizarre. But one time I met these two girls in
Fort Wayne, IN, and they were dressed up like me. They brought me
a wand and some bubbles, and also showed me a scrapbook. They were
awesome, and it was a really cool experience! I gave them some
photos and thanked them. I was flattered.

Jessica: I read on your site that you played the cello, do you still?

 Shannon: Not really.

Jessica: Also do you enjoy the bands Rasputina and/or Darling Violetta
who concentrate muchly on cello's in a heavy flair? Rasputina particularly
which consists of a drummer and three chairs.

Shannon: Sorry, I like to think I'm pretty hip with the music scene,
but I've never heard of them.

Thank you again for your time in answering the questions, I would
have loved to ask some actual intelligent ones. Unfortunately too
much work makes my thoughts hinky. :)
