Bloodsport, 1,2 & 3
Aww yeah, above link takes you to three of my
favorites. Bloodsport. Basically it boils down
to "You will fight in Kumite" which will be ing-
rained into you by mid viewing. The first inst-
allment is about Frank Dux played by ham of the
hour John Claude Van Damme. Lots of good cheesey
quotes to derive from this "fight to the death"
movie. Which is rocking plot one of my plots A-D
of martial arts movies. The Second installment
has Daniel Bernhardt playing Alex Cardo, jailed
for stealing and tortured by the giant guard....
still with me? Anyway, a jailmate shows him how
to use the iron fist...lethal....or shazz. As
you can surmise Alex....."Will fight in Kumite".
This is my favorite chick flick...I'm sure you
gals will agree this is good stuff. The fight
sequences in this movie rock, see streetfighting,
tiger claw,drunken monkey,kickboxing,thai boxing
and capoeira to name a few. Well choreographed
hardcore enjoyment. The third is more of the same
"Kumite" faire also w/Daniel Bernhardt who'se
voice coached almost worked.
Drive
Drive. This is one of my absolute favorites be
it martial arts or other. This movie stars Mark
Decascos and Kadeem Hardison. Mind the plot, and
get to the action sequences! Mark Decascos is
amazing, the skill he demonstrates is unreal.
Kadeem Hardison is very funny, I can't really
describe this well, it's comedic, the action is
brutal and the stars are tapped. The chase scenes
hence the title...very on the edge of your seat.
Kickboxer (1-5)
Heh, more of the same faire chosen by me,
The first stars Jean Claude Van Damme, humourous
thai boxing adventure introducing arch enemy,
Tung Po. Fight to the death.....thai style. The
second through fourth installments feature Sasha
Mitchell from Step by Step fame.I believe in the
fifth movie it's Mark Dacascos. All enjoyable.
