PULP FICTION

"Pulp Fiction" must be one of the greatest movies of all time. It愀 for sure my favourite film. It is, with no doubt, the film of the decade. I must say, however, that the first time I saw it, I didn愒 understand it. I re entered the Theatre to see it again. In two weeks, I must have seen it for about five or six times. I now can say I扉e seen it more than 50!

"Pulp Fiction" is a simple story of bad guys. But the Tarantino art makes it superb. One thing you must understand on Tarantino movies, and Pulp is the finest example, is that no one dies without a specific reason. The bad guys who redempt themselves and decide to be preachers(Jules) are saved. Others who don愒 believe in "divine intervention" are punished(Vincent Vega). Butch saves Marsellus life, when is being raped, and he redempts himself after the killing of his fellow boxer. All the dead guys have a reason. Even innocent Marvin, who is blown off on the car by Vincent has a reason to die. Why? Because earlier in the movie, when they are still in the apartment, he doesn愒 warn Jules and Vincent about the fourth guy hidden in the bathroom with "a goddamn cannon". This the virtuosity of Master Quentin.
