"There's another favour I'd like to ask you from. Almost 20 years ago an American movie and TV actor (Ron Silver) came to China as a tourist. I worked as his guide. We became good friends. When I was at Cortland, he showed me around NYC. Before I flew back to China, he insisted on inviting to his house in Southern California. I forgot he is Jewish. Once I learned that Jews do not have the same Christmas as protestants I stopped sending him X'mas cards. One year later I lost contact with his family. In the past few years I more often than not have met him in TV shows or films. I tried to locate him through Yahoo but to no avail. Is it possible for you to find some clues? Certainly no one will tell you his telephone number or address directly, but could we pass a message to him, telling him my e-mail address or telephone number? In my last three visits to the States, I tried to call his parents and call his NYC and CA phone number, but nobody answered. This is not anything urgent. When you have time could you help me do something? Like locating his agent."
