Welcome
to my online music store. You can check out my favorite artists and buy
any of their albums (I've listed my favorites) or search for something
totally different. Which ever way you slice it, you'll get great music
at great prices!
I would like to highlight three very different artists.
The First is a band that introduced me to Rock and Roll in the
60's. Yes, I am a teenager from the 60's.
(Old, huh?)
By now you have probably figured out I am talking about.....
The Beatles
I love all of their music. From the early 60's
(1962-66)
down to(Anthology)

Beatles
Jukebox, The
Lyrics and music to over 100 songs by
The Beatles. Includes all songs on the White, Blue and Red Albums. Each
song is accompanied by its melody.
The next artist I can't explain why I like so much.
B.B.King
His professional life is marked by a sense of mission, coupled with a desire
to give the blues status and acceptability.
This he has achieved, bringing the blues into the
mainstream of entertainment,

The last artist I want to talk about is
Ray Stevens
A prolific country-pop writer and performer, Stevens' novelty
hits of the 70s and 80s illustrate the history of the fads and crazes
of the era.He was introduced to me by, of all people
my sons. They have always looked for funny things to do.
When they started singing Ray Stevens Parodys and had me rolling on
the floor my husband couldn't believe I had never
heard of him.Stevens also had a penchant for social comment which emerged
in songs such as 'Mr. Businessman' (1968), 'America Communicate With Me'.
However, the zany songs were the most successful and in 1969 he sold a
million copies of 'Gitarzan'
and followed with a version of Leiber And Stoller 's Coasters hit 'Along
Came Jones' and 'Bridget The Midget (The Queen Of The Blues)'. His first
number 1 was the simple melodic ballad 'Everything
Is Beautiful' in 1970. All of these,
however, were outsold by 'The
Streak', which topped the charts on both sides of the Atlantic in 1974.Check
out some of the samples at CDNOW and see how funny he is.
