I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired of Telemarketers. I've decided to declare War on Telephone Solicitors. This page is dedicated to the elimination of Unwanted Telephone Solicitation. I believe this page will an effective weapon against this Pest. By helping Telemarketer Haters see they are not alone and should unite and Boycott all businesses that use this despicable form of salesmanship.
Have you ever been in the shower and hear the phone ring. You grab your towel and take off running, thinking it may be an important call,on the way you get soap in your eyes and slip on the wet bathroom floor. If this isn't enough you stub your toe on the coffee table. When you answer the phone,still dripping and dancing from the pain in your toe, you find the guy on the other end is just some jerk trying to sell replacement windows. At this point in time this guy doesn't realize how lucky he is that I can't reach through the phone and choke him.
What is it with these tellemarketers they always find the worst possible moment to call with there irritating sales pitches. Its a wonder if they ever do find anyone to buy the products and services They represent.
Maybe telemarketers Don't actually sell anything to anyone but were actually put on our planet to be an annoying pest. Like a mosquito, always buzzing in your ear and doing what it can to make your life miserable.
I wouldn't be so upset about these intrusions if these salesmen gave some form useful service like paying my phone bill. TV and radio commercials are not exactly appreciated but they do pay for the programs we entertain ourselves with, plus they give us a chance to grab a snack or go to the can without missing a moment of our favorite programs. Except for the parts they cut out to make room for the commercials.
I make it a point to let these sales people know politely that
I WILL NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ANY COMPANY THAT USES TELEPHONE SOLICITATION AND THAT I BELIEVE THIS FORM OF SALESMANSHIP SHOULD BE OUTLAWED.
I know it may be difficult to to be polite with these jerks but they are only doing a job for minimum wage, most likely. The Businesses who hire them don't deserve to make a single Dime from this irritating form of advertisement. If everyone refused to buy products sold by Telemarketers then it would be a total waste of money to use this form of marketing. I encourage people to boycott businesses that use Telemarketing.
There is just no excuse to buy anything from someone who makes a job out of pissing people off.
I have written my congressman and encourage others I to do the same. I don't think one person complaining about the pest of telemarketing is going to make a difference that is why I must recruit others to my cause. I would like to do whatever I can to eliminate this scourge and any suggestions on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.
