My Galadriel Meditation:

I am walking through a beautiful forest filled with different kinds of trees. Birds are singing. As I walk along the wide safe dirt path where no evil beast of any species can harm me the singing of the birds becomes fainter until I emerge into a beautiful circular clearing. Here it is silent. There is a wide smooth tree stump in the center of the clearing. Shafts of sunlight stream thru the trees and bathe the stump in a soft light. I sit on the tree stump with my legs folded and eyes closed and call for Galadriel. While I wait for her to arrive I bask in the warmth of the sun and enjoy the silence. Galadriel alights quietly behind me and envelops me in her strong safe wings. I hug her and we talk quietly together about whatever is bothering me. Sometimes, if I'm having a problem that overwhelms me Galadriel will take me on her back and fly me high above the world. From up here she points out that my problem is barely a speck. Once she is sure I understand and believe that my problem is not nearly as large as I thought we return to the clearing and say goodbye. I watch Galadriel soar away then I too return to the real world.
