Magick:   What   is   it?

People ask me do I believe in Magick and iI reply Yes thatI do> Then they want to know what magick is and how it works. I hope to try to shed some light on this question with the help of some good writers like Ravenwolf and Grimassi. First the definitions of magick: Magick is the art and science of focusng your wil and emotions to effect change both in the world around you and the word within you. It is somthing that we are all born with for magick is part of the creation of thoughts and connected to the devine spark within all of us. To use magick is to touch that spark and consentrate it to our will. We can not create things like Samantha on Bewitched but we can minulipate the energies around us through willpower and belief. We cseek to control the energy patterns around us to cause change to occur.

Now that i have somewhat defined magick and given a small idea how it works I will go into why I use magic and why it is not evil as many would have you believe. You have probably used a form of magick. Think of when you really wanted somthig very very bad. Your whole will was concentrated o it you worked at it it consumed you. Then you got what you wanted and needed. This was magick you focused your will you put in an emotional envestment in what you wanted and ou had belief that you would get what you wanted. this was a very simple spell for I feelyou really dont' ned candls insence and a whole complex ritual to work a spell. Some cant afford the things called for others just don't feel confortable with all the trappings of a spell. But there is NOTHING wrong with using any tools to perform a spell I do and it helps me set more in my mind what i'm doing. Next you need the knoledge of how a spell works. and you must focus your will and see it visualize it working. To get the knoledge and to really know what i'm doing i write everythign down. The purpose of the spell what i want to happen how i see it happening and all. Then i get to business and I write a spell or ritual. I get out my pen and paper and try to come up with words that focus my emotions and will on what i want. I try to make it beautiful meaningful and somthing that really sets it into my mind. Then I go and try to deside wht tools i'm going to use and need for the spell. For example a money spll i get a green candle and a gold candle. also i use a coin. and anyting i feel that i need to gain the money such as ajob appication or some such. Then i write down EVERYTHING i will do in the ritual the words the gestures all. Thisgets me in the mood to do a spell. Then i get out my trusty magical almanic and find what time would be optimal for casting such a spell. And then i get to work doing it and focusing my will. That is how i do a spell. And it works most of the time. Though sometimes i dont' really need what i ask for or i don't work at it and then nothing happens but i do know that when i give may all to a spell it will succede.
