You are invited, with your family
Brahmin Samaj of Georgia,
Inc. will host the All Brahmin Convention 2003 in
It is a matter of pride that
this year the Brahmin Ladies have accepted the responsibility to organize and
coordinate “All Brahmin Convention” in
I can show several
religious, scientific and logical reasons to make you believe to attend the
convention, but my sole approach is based on family and friends. However few points of pondering a favor for
coming to the convention are not our place.
Let me explain you “Why you
should attend convention”.
1.
Convention
provides us an opportunity to celebrate and calibrate our values, customs,
traditions, culture and history. In the
fast moving life, we hardly have a moment to even think about our golden
heritage. This way, convention will
revitalize, rejuvenate and reaffirm the truth, the pride that resides within
us. By attending one convention, you
will decide to attend again and again.
The song you loved will be reheard, dance you cherished will be
replayed, and people you mingled will take your mind to our motherland. This value alone makes you decide to go for
convention.
2.
Convention is
like a shopping Mall; you will buy, browse and visualize varieties of
items. It can also be a junction where
you see many scholars and entrepreneurs bounce their wits and ideas to explore
business and academic networks. This can
be a life long benefit to met prominent people, who are well renowned in their
fields. This can leave you with a
feeling that you have met somebody, whom you started admiring and has learnt
something from him/her. Virtues and
Visions are derived in the company of learned and virtuous people. You need to come and find out how true that
is.
3.
Convention will
provide us a stage for social interaction.
In foreign land, one does not have enough opportunity to meet birds of
the same feather very often. We are
isolated, scattered and live far away from each other. Convention provides us that opportunity so
that families, relatives, friends, classmates and neighbors come together. New acquaintances, bondage, friendships are
created and established. Many times
future relations find each other. The
setting for this kind of gathering is unique and only you can find out how
lasting it is.
4.
Those of you
still procrastinating and choose not to attend the conventions are really
missing a great deal. The cost is
modest, time is perfect and nothing compared to the amount of enjoyment, pleasure
and peace one can receive. In this land
only way we can enjoy and survive is by cohesive living. Let us get together.
Please do join your fellow
Brahmins in
Accept this as our earnest
Invitation, of course we will be talking at length and keep you up-to-date with
convention progress as time approach closer to Convention dates. Please look out for breaking news on this
subject.
With best regards.
