President's Message
Dear Members,
I would like to wish you all a wonder Navratri and a
Happy Diwali 2002. I hope that the new year will be prsoperous for
you and your family.
We had a wonderful year of events that will be capped
off with our annual Diwali Program scheduled for later in October. I
want to emphasize that the samaj is for its members. The families that
have worked to provide the evetns for the membership are to be congratulated
for their tireless work and dedication to the samaj.
After our upcoming Diwali 2002 function, we will elect
a new executive committee. The new committee will strive to make the
samaj work and benefit its members. They will build on the traditions
and experiences that the samaj has developed over the past years.
The samaj has come a long way in 6 years. We began
from a handful of Brahmins who had a vision of bringing the community together.
From that vision we have grown to over 140 families. The samaj
strives to produce events that will be enjoyed by al.
I would like to thank you all for continued support
of the Brahmin Samaj of Georgia, and would like you ot attend all of the
programs.
For questions or conerns, please feel free to contact
any of the executive committee; they are there for you and for the benefit
of the samaj.
Sincerely,
Avani Raval
President
