Q> We need more information on the two
Covenants, and how
David Koresh could be savior? We thought the power of
salvation
is in the fact of the savior never sinning and coming
under the
condemnation of the torah. If such a person was killed or
died,
THEN he would receive the key of life having never
deserved to die.
A>
There are two Covenants: the old (first) and the
new (second).
The first covenant contained ordinances which required
God’s people to
physically perform. The first covenant (testament) is the
physical covenant
as compared with the new covenant which is a spiritual
covenant. The
spiritual new covenant requires followers of God to apply
the old physical
covenant in a spiritual sense. The new covenant is the
mirror spiritual image
of the old physical covenant. The people who are under
the new covenant
(which began after the death of Christ 2,000 years ago)
must still perform
all the ordinances of the old covenant, except in a
spiritual (new covenant)
way.
All the ordinances which were performed by the people
of God during the
old covenant period (Adam to Christ) pointed to the
coming Messiah of 2,000
years ago who brought an end to the old covenant. The
Christ of 2,000 years
ago died for those who were under the first covenant by
being the human
sacrifice on behalf of those who were physically keeping
the ordinances of
sacrifices. After the death of Christ 2,000 years ago,
the new covenant was
enacted for the people of God to spiritually perform. At
the end of time the
Man-child came to reveal the Seven Seals Scroll and
thereafter became a
sacrifice for the people of God who kept the new
covenant.
There are two Covenants, there must also be two
sacrifices of the Messiah.
The sacrifice of John the Baptist and Christ 2,000 years
ago, brought an end
to the old covenant. The sacrifice of the latter day Lamb
(Man-child) and the
Chosen Vessel brings the end conclusion to the new
covenant. Logic alone
would show this makes sense. However, all things must be
found in the
scriptures of Biblical prophecy.
Heb.9:15
And for this
cause (the sacrifice of Christ) he
(Christ) is the
MEDIATOR
(intercedes spiritually for the sinner; no more need of
physical sacrifices)
of the NEW TESTAMENT
(second spiritual covenant), that
by means of
death (human sacrifice), for the REDEMPTION
(salvation) of the
TRANSGRESSIONS (sins) that were under the FIRST
TESTAMENT
(the old physical sacrifices and ordinances), they (people
who performed
literal sacrifices from Adam to Christ) which are called might receive
the promise of eternal inheritance.
In Heb.9:15 it states that Christ is mediating
for the New Testament (new
spiritual covenant). Therefore those under the new
covenant do not need to
keep the physical sacrificial ordinances but the
spiritual sacrificial ordinances.
It states in Heb.9:15 that Christ of 2,000 years ago had
died for those who
were under the first (old) covenant. The spirit of Christ
was manifested in the
latter days to be a sacrifice for those under the new
spiritual covenant.
Heb.9:16
For where a
TESTAMENT is (there are two: Old
and New Testament),
there must also of
necessity be the DEATH (sacrifice)
of the testator
(there needs to be two deaths for two Covenants).
Heb.9:17
For a testament is
of force (strength) after men are dead
(two sacrifices): otherwise
it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
In Heb.9:16 it states that if there are TWO
Testaments (Covenants) then there
needs to be a death for each testament. In Heb.9:17 it
states that a covenant is
of no strength until the savior dies for that testament.
Christ of 2,000 years ago
only died for those under the first (old) physical
covenant according to Heb.9:15,
and thereafter resurrected and had been mediating for
those under the new
(second) testament (covenant). The new covenant is of no
strength until the
spirit of Michael (Christ) was manifested in the latter
days, as the Man-child of
Rev.12:5, to die for those under the new spiritual
covenant.
Heb.9:28
So Christ was
once offered to bear the sins of MANY
(not all; those under
the first covenant only); and
unto them (Christians) that look for him
(according to the book of Revelation) shall he
(spirit of Christ) appear
(as the Man-child of Rev.12:5) the
SECOND TIME (the Man-child is born
to fulfill the new covenant) without
sin (without sin according to the
spiritual law of prophecy) unto
salvation (the Man-child redeems
the
sinners who are under the new covenant).
There was always meant to be two sacrifices of Christ
according to the two
Testaments (Covenants). The Apostle John on the isle of
Patmos wrote the
book of Revelation in A.D.90. Christ was killed in A.D.30
being 33½ years
of age. In Rev.4:1, John was told to write the things
that were to take place
after (hereafter) A.D.90.
Everything that is written in the book of Revelation
from chapter four to
chapter twenty-two is of the future from A.D.90. With
this in mind the birth
of the Man-child in Rev.12:5 refers to the latter day
Lamb who fulfills the
New Testament prophecies with his Bride.
The following verses refer to Melchizedek who has
within him the same spirit
of the Christ of 2,000 years ago. The spirit of Michael
is the same spirit which
was within Melchizedek, and Christ of 2,000 years ago, as
well as the latter
day Lamb.
Heb.7:1
For this
Melchizedek (High Priest, having
the spirit of Michael), king
of
Salem, priest (High Priest) of the most high God, who met
Abraham
returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed
him;
Heb.7:2
To whom also
Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by
interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also
King of
Salem, which is, King of peace;
Heb.7:3
Without father,
without mother, without descent, having neither
beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto
the Son of
God; abideth a priest continually.
Michael (Christ) who sits upon the throne, had
manifested himself in
Melchizedek by raising up a body from the dust of the
ground for his
(Michael’s) spirit to dwell in. The experience of
Michael’s spirit within
the perfect body of Melchizedek was very limited.
Melchizedek was not
born from an earthly mother and father as stated in
Heb.7:3, therefore
the spirit of Michael within Melchizedek could not
experience temptation
or experience birth and death.
Melchizedek was the sinless experience for the spirit
of Michael. Once the
experience of Michael’s spirit within Melchizedek
was achieved (limited
as it was) the human body of Melchizedek immediately
transformed to
dust as the spirit of Michael returned to its Angelic
body which sits upon
the throne.
At the appointed time the spirit of Michael was
manifested in a body which
was born from a virgin woman without the seed of man. The
Christ of 2,000
years ago had within him the spirit of Michael. Christ
being born of an earthly
virgin woman and not of an earthly man, meant he was half
God and half
human in his flesh. Christ could only be tempted to sin,
but he could not sin.
The experience of temptation and of being born, made the
spirit of Michael
a better mediator for the lost sinner. After the death
and resurrection of Christ
2,000 years ago, his spirit returned to the Angelic body
of Michael and his
human body dissipated into atoms on its ascension from
the earth. The
following verses refer to the Christ of 2,000 years ago.
Is.7:14
Therefore the
Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a VIRGIN
shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name
Immanuel.
Lk.1:31
And, behold,
thou (Mary) shalt conceive in thy womb,
and bring forth a
son, and shalt call his name JESUS
(Yeshua; Joshua).
Lk.1:34
Then said Mary
unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know
not a man?
Heb.4:15
For we have not
an high priest (Michael) which cannot be touched
with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all
points TEMPTED
like as we are, yet WITHOUT SIN
(could not experience sin).
Melchizedek could not be tempted in sin because he was
not born from an
earthly mother or father.
The Christ of 2,000 years ago could be tempted to sin
because he was born
from an earthly mother though no earthly father. Yet
Christ could not commit
sin, firstly because Christ was the written Word made
flesh, and secondly
Christ was not fully human, therefore he had complete
control of his physical
being while being tempted. The spirit of Michael dwelt
within Christ and
accomplished the things written of him in prophecy, see
Jn.5:19; Mk.14:21.
Melchizedek did not die for anybody. When Christ 2,000
years ago was
sacrificed upon the cross, this fulfilled the sacrifice
for the salvation of those
under the first (old) covenant only. The Christians who
were supposed to
be waiting for the manifestation of the latter day Lamb,
would receive
salvation from the Man-child as stated in Heb.9:28. The
book of Revelation
that was written by the Apostle John is called "THE
REVELATION" of
JESUS CHRIST. This means that the last book of the Bible
will reveal
Christ in the future of John’s day (A.D.90).
If there is no literal human manifestation of the
latter day Lamb (Man-child
of Rev.12:5), then the book of Revelation was a pointless
endeavor.
The spirit of Michael was manifested within an earthen
vessel (human body)
in the latter days, which was born from an earthly mother
and father. The
latter day Man-child of Rev.12:5 is born like any other
person under the
curse of sin. The Man-child has the spirit of Michael
within him, thereby will
experience the temptations and sins just like any other
person. Surely God
cannot judge a person unless God has personally
experienced the weaknesses
of humans. The latter day Man-child was manifested
according to scripture
that God may judge clearly. The following verses refer to
the latter day
Lamb (Man-child).
Ps.51:4
Against thee
(God), thee only,
have I (Man-child; latter day
David of
Hos.3:5) sinned, and
done this evil in thy sight: that THOU
(God)
mightest be
JUSTIFIED when THOU (God) SPEAKEST, and be clear
when THOU (God) JUDGEST.
Ps.40:3
And he
(God) hath put a NEW
SONG (Seven Seals Scroll: Song of
the
Lamb, see Rev.15:3) in
my (Man-child) mouth, even praise unto our
God: many shall see it (Song of
the Lamb), and fear,
and shall trust
in the LORD.
Ps.40:7
Then said I
(Man-child), Lo, I
come: in the VOLUME (all
prophecies)
of the book
(scroll) it is
written (Word made flesh) of me
(Man-child of
Rev.12:5).
Ps.40:12
For innumerable
evils have compassed me
(Man-child) about:
mine
(latter day Lamb) INIQUITIES
(sins) have taken
hold upon me, so
that I am not able to look up
(experiences the guilt of sin as all
humans have, which causes him to be ashamed and not want
to
look up to God’s throne); they
(sins) are more than
the hairs of
mine (Man-child’s) head: therefore my heart
faileth me (feels lost).
The latter day Lamb (Man-child) having sins more than
the hairs of his head,
is for the reason that Michael may judge clearly. The
spirit within the latter
day Lamb is the spirit of Michael, being the same spirit
which was in Christ
and Melchizedek. Now through the experiences of the
latter day Lamb,
Michael will receive the experience of the Lamb when the
Man-child’s spirit
awakens within the Angelic body of Michael who sits on
the throne.
The latter day Lamb being a sinner in the flesh does
not excuse those who
follow Present Truth to lower the standard of
righteousness. On the contrary,
those who follow Present Truth must uphold the Truth in a
manner fitting to
the requirements of God’s revealed Word. This means
that one must be wise
as serpents and harmless as doves, in all their day to
day activity in the land
of confusion. The Kingdom of God does not condone
foolishness and frivolity.
The advancement of Present Truth, to those who have an
ear (interest), is to
be done wisely and peacefully, with a contrite heart and
mind.
First
(old) Physical Covenant
In the old covenant, God commanded the
males of the people to
circumcise their foreskin, see Gen.17:11.
Second
(new) Spiritual Covenant
In the new covenant,
the circumcision is of the heart, using the blade of
Present Truth to spiritually circumcise the heart and
mind, see Rom.2:29.
First
(old) Physical Covenant
In the old covenant,
a physical temple was constructed to house the
furniture of the temple with the writings of Moses and
the ten
commandments.
Second
(new) Spiritual Covenant
In the new covenant,
the body of a person is the spiritual temple where
the beliefs of a person are kept in the mind. Those who
have not the
Seven Seals Revelation spiritually written in their
foreheads (minds)
have an abomination in their temple (mind) see
Jn.2:21; 1Cor.3:16,17.
First
(old) Physical Covenant
In the old covenant,
the seventh day was a physical Sabbath for the
physical human body, see Ex.31:15.
Second
(new) Spiritual Covenant
In the new covenant,
the Seven Seals Revelation is the Sabbath rest for
the spiritual body of the mind and spirit, see
Is.28:12,13.
First
(old) Physical Covenant
In the old covenant,
the Israelites were fed with literal manna while in
the wilderness, see Deut.8:16.
Second
(new) Spiritual Covenant
In the new covenant,
the wise Christians are fed with spiritual Manna
(two sided scroll of Rev.10:8-10) while in the
spiritual wilderness,
see Rev.2:17; 12:6,14; Jer.15:16.
First
(old) Physical Covenant
In the old covenant,
the Israelites were commanded to eat no unclean
foods including swine’s flesh. Unclean foods are an
abomination to the
Lord, see Lev.11:4-47.
Second
(new) Spiritual Covenant
In the new covenant,
the Christians are also commanded to eat no
spiritual unclean (abomination) foods: being other
biblical interpretations
(unclean foods) which are not the Seven Seals
Revelation (clean food: Hidden
Manna), see Is.65:3,4; Eze.4:12-14.
First
(old) Physical Covenant
In the old covenant,
the people of God placed a mark (seal) of blood
upon the door post and lintel of their house as
commanded, see Ex.12:22.
Second
(new) Spiritual Covenant
In the new covenant,
the people of God place the spiritual mark (seal)
upon the spiritual door post and lintel of their mind (house;
temple) by
having the knowledge of the Seven Seals Scroll, see
Rev.14:1; 9:4.
First
(old) Physical Covenant
In the old covenant,
there was a candlestick with seven lamps to
illuminate the Holy Place, see Num.8:2.
Second
(new) Spiritual Covenant
In the new covenant,
there are seven lights (stars) contained in the
Seven
Seals Scroll which spiritually illuminate the mind, see
Rev.1:20; 2:1.
First
(old) Physical Covenant
In the old covenant,
the Lord numbered the Israelites, excluding Levi,
in the wilderness, see Num.26:2,4.
Second
(new) Spiritual Covenant
In the new covenant,
the Lord numbered the 200,000,000 (priests of
Rev.5:10)
during the three and a half days (see Rev.11:11)
in the spiritual dreamworld.
The prophecies of the Seven Seals Scroll is replayed in
every generation for
the past dead, see Rev.9:14-16.
First
(old) Physical Covenant
In the old covenant,
when a person sinned a sin not punishable by death,
then that person would offer an unblemished sacrifice to
cover his sin that
was committed against God’s Word of Law.
Second
(new) Spiritual Covenant
In the new covenant,
when a follower of Present Truth sins (except the sin
against Present Truth/Holy Ghost, see Mt.12:31) the
mediating of the
unblemished Christ provides a spiritual sacrifice on
behalf of the sinner.
First
(old) Physical Covenant
In the old covenant,
there were two goats offered on the day of atonement
to atone for sin, see Lev.16:5,8.
Second
(new) Spiritual Covenant
In the new covenant,
the two goats represent the latter day Lamb and
the Chosen Vessel who are written on each side of the
Seven Seals
Scroll to cleanse the sins committed during the new
covenant period
at the Sixth Seal (day of atonement).
First
(old) Physical Covenant
In the old covenant,
one goat was sacrificed upon the altar for a sin
offering, see Lev.16:9.
Second
(new) Spiritual Covenant
In the new covenant,
the latter day Lamb was sacrificed upon the altar
of the Fifth Seal, bearing the sins of the first
gathering, see Rev.6:9;
Dan.8:11.
First
(old) Physical Covenant
In the old covenant,
the scapegoat was taken to the wilderness bearing
the sins of Israel. The scapegoat was devoured by a wild
beast in the
wilderness, see Lev.16:21,22.
Second
(new) Spiritual Covenant
In the new covenant,
the Chosen Vessel and Remaining Bride (woman of
Rev.12:6,14) are in the spiritual wilderness, eating
the spiritual Manna.
The Chosen Vessel and the Remaining Bride bear the sins
of the Firstfruits
who are born in the spiritual wilderness. Thereafter the
woman (scapegoat)
is devoured by the Babylonian Beast, see Rev.11:7; 12:15.
First
(old) Physical Covenant
In the old covenant,
all the pardonable sins that were committed during
the year were covered by the unblemished physical
sacrifices.
Second
(new) Spiritual Covenant
In the new covenant,
all the pardonable sins that are committed during
the new covenant period are covered by the mediating
spiritual sacrifice
of the unblemished Christ of 2,000 years ago.
First
(old) Physical Covenant
In the old covenant,
the pardonable sins that were committed during the
years were fully cleansed on the day of atonement:
cleansing of the
sanctuary, see Lev.16:33,34.
Second
(new) Spiritual Covenant
In the new covenant,
the pardonable sins committed during the new
covenant period are fully cleansed on the spiritual day
of atonement,
being the Sixth Seal (great and dreadful day of
God’s wrath) which cleanses
the spiritual sanctuary (minds) of the Great
Multitude, see Dan.8:14.
The Seven Seals Revelation is the wine (doctrine) of
astonishment,
see Ps.60:3. The spirit of Michael was dwelling in the
latter day Lamb
to experience temptation and also sin. There are many in
Christendom
who judge with their eyes instead of the Word of God
(thus saith the
Lord). Therefore they have an attitude of believing they
are holier than
the Man-child because he (Lamb) claims to be the spirit
of Christ
(Michael) yet being a sinner.
Is.65:5
Which say, Stand
by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than
thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth
all the day.
There be many who could not bear the thought that
Michael could dwell in
a body of sin to experience sin on behalf of the sinner.
The latter day Lamb
was a true stumbling block to Christians. The latter day
Lamb reveals the
characters of those who are offended against God’s
Word made flesh.
Is.8:14
And he
(Man-child) shall be
for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling
and for a rock of OFFENCE to both the houses of Israel (European
and
other Christian nations), for
a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of
Jerusalem (capital of the Great
Christian Nation).
The Man-child who revealed the Seven Seals Scroll came
born like any
other person as prophesied in scripture. The Man-child
was to see his seed
(children), as the scripture reveals the latter day
Man-child having physical
children.
Is.8:18
Behold, I (Man-child)
and the children
whom the LORD hath given me
are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of
hosts, which
dwelleth in mount Zion.
Ps.89:35
Once have I
(God) sworn by my
holiness that I will not lie unto David
(latter day David, see Hos.3:5).
Ps.89:36
His
(latter day David: Man-child) seed
(children) shall
endure for ever
(the spirits within his children are those same spirits
which dwell in the
righteous Angels), and
his (Michael: Man-child) throne
(in heaven, see
Rev.4:2) as the sun
before me.
Is.53:10
Yet it pleased
the LORD to bruise him
(Man-child); he hath
put him to
grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin,
he (Man-child)
shall see his seed
(physical children), he
shall prolong his days, and the
pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
The latter day Man-child is the spirit of Michael
placed into a human body
born from a man and a woman. The latter day Lamb
fulfilled the scriptures
which applied to himself. Therefore the Man-child (Lamb)
is sinless in spirit;
though in his flesh he was a sinner as required by the
prophetic Word of God.
If you fulfill God’s revealed Word, no matter how it
is perceived by rebellious
humans, this shows that you have a righteous spirit
within you.
Many prophets of the past were commanded by God to do
things contrary to
the old law. Present Truth means that God may require you
to do things which
God had previously not required, see Eccl.3:1-8. The
Israelites crossed the
river Jordan to possess Canaan (Promised Land). God
instructed the Israelites
to kill everyone (women, children, men, cattle) in
Jericho, even though the sixth
commandment says, thou shall not kill, see Josh.6:21.
The riddle of Samson was found out by his companions
at his wedding,
therefore Samson had to provide them with thirty sheets
and thirty change
of garments. One would think that Samson would buy or
trade to acquire
the garments to give his companions. Instead the spirit
of the Lord helped
Samson slay thirty men for their garments, see
Judg.14:19.
King Saul of Israel required one hundred foreskins of
the Philistines in
exchange for the marriage to Saul’s daughter Michal.
David, the man
after God’s own heart, slew two hundred Philistines
and cut their penises
off and presented them before king Saul, see
1Sam.18:25-27.
Jacob who acquired the birthright from Esau, deceived
his father Isaac to
obtain the blessing meant for the firstborn. God had no
objections to Jacob
deceiving his father (Isaac) to obtain his blessing, see
Gen.27:19-29.
Pharaoh of Egypt commanded the Hebrew midwives to kill
all the male
babies. The midwives did not do as Pharaoh commanded, and
when
Pharaoh inquired why they had not done as he asked, the
midwives
deceived Pharaoh by saying the Hebrew mothers were lively
(awake)
even after giving birth. God was pleased that the
midwives lied unto
Pharaoh, because the midwives feared the Lord, see
Ex.1:15-22.
The prophet Hosea was told to marry a whore, and
thereafter to also marry
an adulteress who was being sold to the highest bidder,
see Hos.1:2; 3:1-3.
God’s ways are not as our ways, for God uses the
seemingly foolish things
to confound the so-called wise. To judge someone
according to how things
outwardly appear can be disastrous. Out of the mouth of
two or three
prophets who wrote the Word of God, shall all things be
tested. None of
the wicked understand because they do not have an ear to
hear what the
spirit says.
Those who accept the Seven Seals Revelation will be
killed (spiritual or
physical) by those who think they are doing God’s
work, see Jn.16:2. The
people who are made wise by the Seven Seals Revelation
shall be hated by
those (their brethren) who reject it. Many Christians in
the name of Jesus
hate the latter day Lamb and those who follow the Seven
Seals Revelation.
Is.66:5
Hear the word
(Present Truth) of
the LORD, ye (believers of the
Seven
Seals) that tremble
at his word; YOUR BRETHREN that HATED you,
that CAST YOU OUT for my (Christ) name's sake, said
(the rebellious
say), Let the LORD
be glorified: but he (Christ) shall appear to your joy,
and they (rebellious) shall be ashamed.
Mt.24:9
Then shall they
deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill
(Fifth Seal)
you: and ye
(followers of Present Truth) shall
be hated of all nations for
my name's (latter day Cyrus) sake.
Mt.24:10
And then shall
many be offended, and shall betray one another,
and shall hate one another.
Mt.24:11
And many false
prophets (teachers; preachers;
prophets in Christendom
without the knowledge of the Seven Seals Scroll) shall rise, and shall
deceive many (most Christians
besides the elect, shall be deceived).
It is evident that the adversary of Present Truth
inspires individuals to speak
falsely against those who understand the Hidden Manna
(Seven Seals Scroll).
All manner of evils shall be spoken against the New Light
from God’s Word,
because these are people filled with an unholy spirit who
turn many away
from the path of salvation.
Mt.5:11
Blessed are ye
(followers of Present Truth), when
men shall revile you,
and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil
against you falsely,
for my sake.
Mt.5:12
Rejoice, and be
exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for
so persecuted they (rebellious) the prophets
(writers of biblical scripture)
which were before
you.
Do the Ten Commandments still
apply?
