War Crimes Watch mission statement.

Have we forgotten Bosnia?
November 1993

War in Bosnia is an expression of lost humanity. From beginning the relation of relentless campaigns launched by Serb and Croat forces have assumed the character of genocide. Their aims clearly have been to remove the presence of Muslims in Bosnia, as a result of which the Muslim civilian population today almost stands on the verge on annihilation.

The International community and the institutions of international order watched silently as the people of Bosnia have been slaughtered and their cities throttled by inhumane sieges. The Genocide Convention, the United Nations Chartered and the Geneva Conventions have offered no protection to defenseless civilians, subjected to the constant horrors of mass killings, rape, starvation and torture. The United Nations War Crimes Process is a facade that lacks political will and has no power to bring war criminals to justice, whilst their leaders are treated as international statesmen. The European Union and the United Nations have consistently sought to suppress the facts that prove the charges of genocide. United Nations’ officials were aware of the existence of concentration camps at least a month before they were publicized by the international media, and many of these camps still exist today.

At least a million Bosnian Muslims are scattered across Europe, America and the Middle East, having been driven from their homeland by genocide and forcible expulsion. These people hold the truth about the genocide in Bosnia, and they must be allowed to tell their reality so that humanity can realize the crime perpetrated . WAR CRIMES WATCH intends to build a systematic record of the war crimes committed against Bosnians and aims to identify not only the perpetrators responsible but also those who ordered and organized the genocide. Before a generation is lost, action to identify the criminals must be taken now, no matter how long it takes to bring them to justice. The testimonies of victims will document the suffering of a nation and offer serious evidence of genocide. International Law demands that those guilty of the crime, whosoever they are and for whosoever reason they committed it, are made punishable. If justice is to remain a force capable of creating order in a world of chaos, those responsible for the murder and rape of innocent people must be brought to account for their actions.
