It's looking good...Buffy the Vampire Slayer will not have a new episode until the end of April. After a repeat of Phases next week, a repeat of Helpless will be shown on April 13th. "Buffy" Buffy and the gang are all for slaying when danger presents itself. But this time, they protect a mostly human werewolf from an evil poacher who hunts the animal for sport. Meanwhile, Xander winds up nursing a broken heart and ego when Willow gets friendly with Oz&emdash;little does she know the danger she's in!
Last Week on
"Buffy" Buffy's mom decides to spend q-time with Buffy, but instead she discovers two murdered children while out on a night of slaying with the Buffster. Joyce makes it her mission to find the evil deed-doer when Giles suggests the deaths are the result of a cult sacrifice. The witch hunt leads the Sunnydale mob straight to a bewildered Willow. We've heard of school bonfires, but this crowd is taking it too far. Lucky for Buff and Will, Cordelia's there to snatch them from the flames. For a full review, click here.
OOPS! During the locker search, a cop is looking through a coin purse as seen over Snyder's shoulder. A significant amount of time later, and after looking through other things, the same cop is seen looking through the same coin purse. There was some dialogue that was not in the episode or even in the script, but somehow made it into the closed captioning. All of it was during the scene of the police investigation. React Uttspike@aol.com shares her prediction for the season finale: "Cordy's dad loses his job and Cordy's life is changed. Therefore, she can no longer afford her prom dress and Xander secretly buys it for her. However, Xander goes to the dance with a girl named Emma and Willow finds a spell that can make Angel human for a day. Buffy and Angel dance at the Prom."

INSIDE INFO FROM "BUFFY"...All actors have their fantasy roles. So what is Sarah Michelle Gellar's? A cameo on "Dawson's Creek." Dawson's Creek, after all, was created by Kevin Williamson, the screenwriter who brought to life Gellar's first big-screen character in "Scream." "When they have the drunk-driving episode, I want to be the kid who's killed," said Gellar. "I'm obsessed. I will get killed." We all hope it's not in the ratings!
PEOPLE MAGAZINE ON CHARISMA..."It was brave of my parents," says Charisma Carpenter referring to the name her parents gave her, "because what if I had no personality?" Charisma divulged some bits of herself in the March 8 issue of People Magazine, including the classic story that she was named after what she calls a "tacky Avon perfume." But Charisma is far from tacky; in fact, she's going to be taking on the new role of leading lady when she joins David Boreanaz in his new spin off series, "Angel." Can you believe Charisma's Dad wanted to name her Prissy? Thank you, Avon lady.
SLAYING RUMORS...Now that Buffy is the charm of the silver screen as well as the TV screen, could the golden-haired slayer be moving on? For $30,000 per episode, Sarah Michelle Gellar says, "Not yet. I love the show." Gellar recently told Entertainment Weekly Online. Gellar loves being on a cult hit: "You feel less pressure. And you won't get typecast, because you're not 'Rachel from Friends.'"
KNOCKIN' 'EM DEAD...Sarah Michelle Gellar is gearing up for her birthday bash (April 14) by cashing in on the coolest clothes around. Rumor has it that her latest style-file is full of strapless dresses and scoop-necked tops. Plus she never leaves home without her diamond-studded crucifix necklace (a mere $1,000). No doubt she's the glammest slayer in town.
WHAT LIES AHEAD...Hollywood's plot du jour seems to be sexual innocence. "Entertainment Weekly" points out that when the Buffster gave it up last year to Angel, he turned into a soulless vampire who never returned her calls (and then tried to kill her). Ouch! Will Buffy fall for anyone else in the near future, or will she remain faithful to the dark side of good? Either way it'll be a hard decision, considering that both her man Angel and her nemesis Cordelia are rumored to be leaving the show at the end of the season. They won't be going far&emdash;David Boreanaz and Charisma Carpenter are slated for a spin-off&emdash;but somehow we suspect that Buffy isn't that good at long-distance relationships. Stay tuned....
