Due to the recent tragedy in Colarado, many of the networks felt that it would be inappropriate to air the show. Apparently there is some type of Mass murder in Sunnydale High, and networks feel that this might not sit well with many viewers

YTV, which is Canada's provider of Buffy, has already confirmed that they will cancel the show. Various other states in North America have also decided on the cancelation. The WB has yet to make an official statement as to whether or not they will air it in parts of the U.S.

For many disheartened Buffy fans, this couldn't happen at a worse time, because Buffy was set to make it's long awaited return from reruns. BTVS was previously in reruns for about 2 months. One fan wrote me and suggested the following "I think by showing it people can be aware of the dangers of violence at schools." I however disagreed and noted that the events in Colorado are evidence enough.

I'd like to thank the many people who dropped me a line to tell mr about the Buffy cancelation situation. I guess the best way to see if you get Earshot or not, is too tune in this Tuesday night.
