LOS ANGELES - February 1, 1999 - Fox Interactive announced today it's bringing the thrill of arcade pinball home with the impending release of FOX ARCADE: SCI-FI PINBALL. Slated to hit stores in March 1999, FOX ARCADE: SCI-FI PINBALL will be available on Windowsâ 95/98 and Power Macintosh and iMacä CD-ROM for a suggested retail price of $29.95. The game will feature four distinctive pinball tables based on Fox's hottest sci-fi properties: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Aliens, Predator, The Fly, plus a bonus vintage Fly table. |

The new game, developed by Gigawatt Studios, will be supported by a grassroots trade campaign with mailings and merchandising. To support sell-through, Fox Interactive will launch an online marketing campaign highlighted by contest give-aways. Fox Interactive will also launch the FOX ARCADE: SCI-FI PINBALL web site, which will feature the game's product information and screen shots. . |

The game will feature four of the most popular sci-fi properties. Buffy the Vampire Slayer, arguably the hottest TV show among teens and "20-somethings" today, currently has more than 200 Web sites devoted to Buffy. The Alien franchise has earned more than $250 million in the theaters and has sold over 3.5 million units on video. Predator maintains its 11-year-old franchise with its presence in other popular PC and video games. The Fly is a still a favorite today after the 1986 Academy Awardâ-winning remake of the 1958 classic. |

FOX ARCADE: SCI-FI PINBALL showcases several key features. More than 100 actual movie/TV clips and sound bites allow the player the relive their favorite scenes. As players hit special shots and completes certain target combinations, they trigger interactive game animation which intensify gameplay. Eleven mini-games extend the pinball experience. Playfields and areas outside the normal playfield morph and shift based on gameplay. Up to four players can challenge one another on three levels of difficulty. True pinball sound effects and realistic physics will provide an exciting arcade feel and perspective.
