Living in a Tangled Skein

Chapter One

“What?! Of course not!” Yuusuke stood up. “But itoshii… I promised them,” Keiko whined. “I’m not going to train a bunch of losers! I bet Kurama and Kuwabara won’t as well, not to mention Hiei, he might just burn them all to ashes!” Yuusuke shook his head. “Hiei-san won’t do that. He’s a matured rational young man now, not like ‘someone’,” Keiko uttered sarcastically, looking out the window.

Yuusuke pouted. Yes, he had to agree that Hiei had grown more rational after 10 long years.

“But still, I don’t think he would appreciate the idea of training a bunch of losers,” Yuusuke shook his head.

After a lovely dinner at Yuusuke’s house the next day…

“Sure, sounds fun,” Hiei smiled. Kurama, agreeing with Hiei nodded. “I miss my schooldays. It might be fun to spend some time with school kids,” he smiled. “Yeah, I love kids!” Kuwabara grinned.

  Yuusuke sweatdropped.

The girls were anxiously waiting for the ‘good looking’ guys to come. “Where are they, teacher?” Yume asked, narrowing her eyes at the arch of the temple. “They’ll be here in a moment. These guys are slowpokes,” she muttered, cursing Yuusuke especially for getting up late.

“Hey, someone’s coming!” Ayami exclaimed. Every pair of eyes focused at the arch. Heartbeats getting faster as seconds ticked by.

“Genki minna! Sumimasen, Osoku narimashita!” was the big holler from the stairs.

Every girl sweatdropped. “This is the good looking guy?” Riko nudged Keiko. Keiko smiled. “I said a couple of good looking guys. Not all good looking guys,” Keiko laughed flatly. Riko pouted.

“Ne, Kuwabara-san… where’s Yuusuke?” Keiko asked. “Oh, he’s still down there with Hiei and Kurama. They’re coming up,” Kuwabara grinned. “Yoshi,” Keiko sat back on the bench.

“O-minna-san genki? Ware wa Kuwabara Kazuma desu. Hajimemashite!” he introduced himself. The girls bowed. “Hajimemashite,” they all answered politely.

Then Yuusuke showed up. A few excited cheers were heard. “This one’s good!” Yuuki grinned. Riko looked at her and snorted. “Yuusuke! What took you so long?” Keiko asked, standing up. “Well, we got hungry, so we stopped by the stall to get some breakfast,” he grinned. Keiko’s veins bulged out. “WE’RE ALL HERE WAITING FOR YOU AND YOU WENT FOR BREAKFAST!?” she shouted at Yuusuke.

The girls winced, they never saw their teacher as angry as that. She was scary.

“Doushite?” asked a low tenor. “Wakaranai, ne Hiei… Hayai yo!” answered a soft alto. They girls fixed their eyes at the arch and saw a redhead coming up. More exciting shrieks were heard. Then Hiei appeared. “Do you really need to bring all these, Yuusuke?” Hiei asked, carrying the big bag.

Yuusuke laughed. “Mochiron, Hiei. Put it here,” Yuusuke pointed at a spot under the tree. But Hiei had already put it down and sat on the stairs of the temple. “Move it yourself,” he grinned.

Yuusuke shrugged and took the bag. Keiko clapped her hands to get her student’s attention. “Okay, now all your trainers are here, let me introduce them to you. “This is Yuusuke, my husband; Kuwabara, Kurama and the one over there, Hiei. All four of them are going to train you for the whole month,” Keiko grinned.

“So, since today’s the first day, you all can go and walk around the temple and get your rooms,” Yuusuke grinned. Keiko frowned. “Yuusuke!” she exclaimed. Yuusuke smiled. “In order to have a good training, one must be able to adapt to the surrounding and be one with the soul of the wilds. So in order to do so, we’re going to have a tour around the temple and a picnic later,” Yuusuke explained, a big smile on his face.

“Yay!” was the reply from the excited high-school girls. “Okay, now go to your rooms,” Yuusuke smiled.

Kurama smiled. “Which room do you want, Hiei?” Kurama asked. “A room with Kurama in it,” Hiei smiled, showing his fangs to the redhead who was the same height as he was.

The girls gathered into one big room, spreading the futons. “This sounds like fun!” Yume grinned. “Yuusuke’s cute,” Yuuki sighed. Riko swatted her head. “We’re here to train not to hunt people’s husband. Get Hiei or Kurama instead,” she laughed.

“You people,” Hanaya smiled. Shina shook her head. “I just hope there’re no ghosts here,” she unpacked her stuffs. “I hope we don’t get too much of a stress being trained by those guys,” Ayami said thoughtfully.

“Shh… shhh… quiet… someone’s outside, I think Hiei and Kurama’s outside,” Yume waved her hand to get the girls to the door. All 6 of them glued to their ears to the door.

“So, what’re you doing tonight, itoshii?” Kurama asked.

“Itoshii? I don’t know there’s another girl around,” said Riko. “Shit… Kurama’s taken. Not fair…” Ayami sighed.

“Nothing. Why? Anything up in your mind?” Hiei smiled.

All the girls fainted. “This is major shit,” Riko exclaimed in a whisper.

“K… Kurama’s…” Ayami gulped. “Man… I didn’t think that… Oh god…” Yume sat down. “Hey, look at the bright side. At least they look good together,” Rika grinned. She walked back to her futon and laid on it. “Tell me when it’s time to go,” she closed her eyes.

Kurama looked out the window from their room. It was the scenery of the mountains, beautiful and serene. Hiei’s eyes landed gracefully on Kurama’s long smooth legs. He sat next to the standing redhead and rested his cheek on Kurama’s slender leg.

“Hiei…” Kurama smiled, looking at the fire demon. Hiei smiled, rubbing his cheeks on Kurama’s leg like a fox in heat. “Oh stop it Hiei… we’re going to have to go out in a few minutes time,” He crouched, kissing Hiei on the lips with a soft smack.

“But you have such beautiful long legs…” Hiei pouted. Kurama smiled. “I do? Thank you,” he blushed. Hiei got into Kurama’s embrace and rested his head on the crook of Kurama’s neck, inhaling the soft smell of roses in his hair.

Kurama smiled, running his hands through Hiei’s long hair. This might turn out to be a nice vacation.

“Are you all ready?” Yuusuke asked. The girls nodded, ready with their water bottles, backpack and cap. “Hai!” They answered simultaneously.

Kurama got his hair into a neat ponytail and picked up his backpack.

Hiei was in a pair of Bermudas, sleeveless shirt and not forgetting his katana.

“What’re you doing with a sword?” Riko asked. Hiei blinked. “To cut any unfortunate animals that are in the way,” Hiei answered. “Euh, that’s cruel,” Riko winced. Hiei laughed. “Nah, it’s for cutting the forest for an easier path,” Hiei went ahead, following Kurama.

Kuwabara shut his hand phone and smiled. “Yukina-chan’s coming over with the children to cook dinner later,” he announced. “That’s good!” Keiko smiled. “Now all of you, don’t split. Follow Hiei and Kurama. Kuwabara, Yuusuke and I will be at the back,” Keiko hollered. The girls nodded and got into a row excitedly.

Kurama smiled. “Be careful. Just tell me if you have anything wrong, okay?” he asked. They all nodded.

Hiei opened the gate at the back of the temple and smiled. “Isoge…” he told the redhead. Kurama nodded and followed Hiei.

They walked down a steep trail along the mountains. “My god, this is scary!” Ayami said softly. “It’s okay, it’ll be fun… come, give me your hand,” Kurama said to Yume, as they had to cross over a big fallen tree trunk. Yume grabbed Kurama’s hand and climbed over the trunk, waiting for the others at the other side.

“Yuusuke! There’s a waterfall nearby. Wanna go!?” Hiei asked Yuusuke who was at the back. “Sure!” Yuusuke hollered back. Hiei smiled and walked up the trees, heading east.

After half an hour, they were all at this wonderful waterfall. Keiko looked at her watch. “It’s almost 2.30. You all can eat, drink, swim or do whatever. Just don’t go out of sight,” she smiled and sat on a rock.

All of them took out their water bottles and gulped down a fairly amount of water.

Kurama and Hiei went up to sit on this big rock next to the river. "River looks nice,” Hiei commented. Kurama nodded and looked at Hiei. “Wanna swim?” the Jaganshi asked. Kurama grinned. “Last one down is a rotten egg,” he laughed, quickly standing up and took off his shirt. “Hey, not fair!” Hiei protested but did likewise as both of them stripped, leaving their shorts on.

All of them looked at the noise and smiled. “Look! Kurama and Hiei are going to dive!” Hanaya exclaimed.

Both dived into the river with a big splash. All of them clapped. “Wahh!!! Sugoi!!!” Shina clapped her hands. “I want to go as well!!!” Yuuki grinned. “You!?” Riko smirked. Yuuki threw a piece of banana at Riko.

Hiei got up on a rock in the middle of the river. “Hey, minna! Come and join us! The water’s damn nice!” Hiei exclaimed from his rock. All of them waved back. “We will!! Wait!!” Yuusuke grinned, putting back his water into the bag planning to jump into the water as well.

“Stop shouting and help me get up there,” Kurama pouted. Hiei smiled and reached out to pull Kurama up. The redhead held on Hiei’s hand and tried to climb up. When he was finally on the rock, he sat down and accidentally kissed Hiei. Hiei smiled. “Was that incidental?” he asked the redhead. Kurama smiled, “Maybe, maybe not,” he teased the han-koorime. Hiei leaned forward for another kiss. “Well, whatever, but that was intentional,” Hiei smiled.

Then there were noises. The girls decided to swim first. It was bad to swim after a meal.

“Oi, what’re you two doing up there?” Yuusuke teased as he was near the rock. Kurama smiled. “Dating,” he told Yuusuke. “We might even think of having sex on this rock!” Hiei blurted absent-mindedly. Kurama swatted Hiei’s head. “Hiei!” he pinched the han-koorime’s ass.

Yuusuke laughed. “Was that suppose to mean something?” Hiei grinned. “Oh my god. Yuusuke! Get me off this rock!” Kurama tried to stand up, but Hiei held on Kurama’s feet and the redhead fell cushioned by Hiei’s arms. The han-koorime pinned the youko on the rocks and got on top of him.

“Oi, Hiei… there are innocent kids here!” Yuusuke was alarmed. All of the girls were already looking at Hiei’s weird act. Kurama was squirming hastily under the han-koorime when the Jaganshi laughed and jumped into the water. “I’m hungry!” he exclaimed, leaving Kurama-tachi behind and got on the banks.

“There’s chocolate in the front pocket, Hiei!” Kurama hollered. Hiei smiled and nodded as he trotted dripping wet to their bag. He opened the zipper and took out something called ‘Snickers’ and unwrapped the damn thing.

He chewed on his chocolate when Kurama got tired of water not long after that and joined Hiei. As the redhead walked his way towards the Jaganshi, Hiei took opportunity to admire the fox. The wet clinging fabric of Kurama’s boxers outlined his slim long legs and slightly erected sex.

That got Hiei hung on something, his own erection kicking him into reality. He threw the empty wrapper inside of his bag and got up, taking Kurama’s hand. Kurama blinked. “What is it Hiei?” he asked. Hiei put a finger on his lips and gestured Kurama to follow him quietly.

Hiei brought Kurama to a secluded arbor. It was securely covered by trees and big tree roots. “Put rose petals here,” Hiei commanded. Kurama narrowed his eyes. “Whatever for?” he asked. “Just make a rose bed here,” Hiei gently pushed Kurama forward a little.

Kurama smiled and summoned his rose petals; first flowing around him, then settled down to create a small hill of rose petals. Hiei grinned. He jumped onto it and stretched himself open. Kurama smiled. It looks like Hiei was up to something.

“Take it off,” Hiei said, pointing at his own wet boxers. Kurama bent and slowly took off the cloth covering Hiei’s now erected sex. Kurama teased the rod and it waved left and right. “Stop playing with your food, Kitsune,” Hiei smirked.

“Food is it… okay,” Kurama smiled and gladly took to the tumescent rod into his hot mouth, sucking it to full erection. Hiei could barely open his eyes; Kurama was such a good sucker. On impulse, Hiei began pumping into the redhead’s tight mouth demanding release.

Playfully the redhead left Hiei pumping thin air. “Damn! Why did you stop?” Hiei got up; supported himself with his elbows, looking at the redhead. “Because it’s not fair… my turn,” Kurama grinned.

Hiei lunged forward and laughed, he was just going to rip Kurama’s boxers to strips when Kurama stopped him. “Matte Hiei! This is my only supply of shorts. Be gentle with it. You don’t want me walking around in the woods bottomless with those girls around, do you?” Kurama grinned.

Hiei blinked. “Oh, sorry…” he apologized absent-mindedly and slowly pulled down the shorts.

Kuwabara looked around, munching on a sandwich. “Where’s Kurama and Hiei?” the pondered aloud. Yume frowned. “Last I saw them was when I sat on the rock there… they disappeared behind those trees,” she told Kuwabara. “Oh, thanks,” with that he stood up. Suddenly Yuusuke held his hand. “Where to?” he asked. “I’m going to look for Hiei and Kurama,” Kuwabara answered.

“Stupid, they must be busy… don’t interrupt them,” Yuusuke told Kuwabara with a hinting glint in his eyes. “Oh, gomen ne… how foolish of me,” he scratched his head, sitting down.

Not long after that, Kurama and Hiei emerged from the bushes. “Ne, Kurama… your hair’s down. Where didja go?” Yuusuke commented, smiling mischievously. The redhead blinked and smiled. “Emm… we’re drying our clothes at the back. The band snapped somehow, I’ll find some weeds to tie it back later,” Kurama grinned.

Yuusuke pointed at his shorts. “You were playing with roses?” he blinked. Kurama grinned. “Well, I had my Fuuka Enbujin when I dried my shorts. Who know what naughty creatures are around,” Kurama grinned.

“Yo, Kurama!” Hiei hollered from on top of the rock he sat earlier. Kurama turned around. “Coming!” he smiled and thanked Hiei secretively leaving Yuusuke before more questions were asked.

The redhead climbed up the rock and sat next to Hiei. “Come here, I’ll tie your hair,” he offered, sitting behind Kurama. Kurama put both of Hiei’s legs around his middle, running his hands on it slowly. The Jaganshi gathered up Kurama’s hair neatly and tied it up with a ward. Hiei leaned forward and hugged Kurama. The redhead took Hiei’s hands and examined it under the slight sunlight.

Keiko nudged Yuusuke. “They’re giving bad influence to my kids,” she complaint. Riko turned to her. “No they’re not, teacher… they’re teaching us the real meaning of love… don’t you think they look cute together?” she asked. “Well… yes,” Keiko sighed. “But are you sure all of you are okay with this?” Keiko asked. All of the girls turned from watching Hiei and Kurama and nodded.
