We want you to think of three words when you think
of the Capital West Christian Church.
AVAILABILTY - we are here to minister to you and to
help you develop in ministry.
ACCESSIBILITY - easily acessible from all major areas
of Jefferson City, we are located just five miles west
of the Capitol building, on Highway 50. You will see
our building on the right abut 1/2 mile after you take
the Apache Flats exit.
CREDIBILITY - the credibility of this ministry is built
upon the unchanging, authoritive, pertinent Word of God.
The membership of Capital West Christian Church would
like to encourage you to become a part of our family.
Morning Worship Service...10:30 a.m.
Evening Worship Service...6:30 p.m.
Weednesday Youth Meetings...6:30 p.m.
SUNDAY SCHOOL PROGRAM - we are committed to Bible-centered
teaching for all ages, for toddlers through adults. Our
Sunday School teachers use excellent teaching materials with
various aids to enable students to really grasp the lesson.
MORNING WORSHIP - follows directly after Sunday School with a
brief time of fellowship and visiting in between. Our Worship
time is relaxed and refreshing. The songs are a mix of the
older hymns of the faith and also newer contemporary songs and
choruses. Our focus is on Worship and a positive call to renew
your life. The sermons are Bible-based messages you can use in
your daily life each week. We have special Children's Church
for young people up to age 8. Nursery is, of course, available
for your infants.
EVENING WORSHIP - is a chance for the whole family to share
together in a relaxed setting. A Bible-study format is used
to explore God's Word and its teaching in regard to our families.
We also have a special time for the high school aged youth called
J.A.M. (Jesus and Me), this is a time for our older youth to be
challenged and to take the faith and make it their own.
WEDNESDAY YOUTH MEETINGS - children from nursery age through the
eighth grade are involved in age-related youth group classes.
These classes are filled with songs, activities, games, and very
interesting lessons. The kids love it! Great lessons for life
are taught to the young people.
