Undertaker Vs. UnderFAKEr

Ahhh yes, I remember it well. The original 'Taker had disappeared after his run in with Yokozuna and 9 other wrestlers at Survivor Series the year before. Ted Dibiase had started up his "Million Dollar Corporation" Stable, and claimed he had aquaired the services of The Undertaker. Dibiase introduced the Undertaker to the WWF, and now he was going to bring him back. Paul Bearer (then a face) denied it.

Then one day on WWF Superstars of Wrestling, Dibaise produced... an Undertaker. It seemed like the real thing when he stepped out from the curtain. But then, at least I noticed and I'm sure others did too, that this Undertaker was... well, .... a little shorter. ;)

Anyways, the months went by and it seemed Dibiase was unstoppable. Then as the weeks approached to Summerslam.... Undertaker sightings began to happen. Leslie Neilson was hired to investigate (?). Paul Bearer challenged Dibaise's Undertaker to face the real 'Taker at Summerslam.

Blah, blah, blah.... the real Undertaker shows up at Summerslam, now wearing purple where gray was worn previously. After a horrible and far too confusing match, Dibiase's undertaker was defeated and stuffed into a casket. Later, the body of Dibiase's Undertaker had disappeared from the casket in a puff of smoke. The End.

BUT REALLY.....

This was an awful angle, that never should have happened. Dibiase's Undertaker was played by Brian Lee, better known as "Chainz" of DOA today. The only redeeming this about the whole ordeal is Dibiase's Undertaker's funny nickname that was given to him over the years: THE UNDERFAKER.
