Camera Dave is a 40 year
veteran of the Video, HD and Digital Cinema Camera field. He has worked in
front of, operated or repaired cameras since he graduated from high school.
He is considered a "part time shooter," which is why he has such a comprehensive
knowledge of video cameras. He has shot various productions over the years,
and has also setup/aligned video cameras for various photographers and Directors
of Photography around the country; each camera having it's own special "look."
He is currently working with Digital Cinematograpy Cameras and is considered
and expert on the Sony F23 and F35 cameras. The world of Digital Cinematography
is vastly different than the world of Videography, so each experience is
a new and excellent learning experience. He has a great knowledge regarding
set ups on Digital Cinematography cameras. This is why people come back time
and time again to have David repair and align their cameras for them. Camera
Dave is currently spending most of his time working on Digital Cinema cameras
either in the shop or on site. He has many day to day contacts with many
Digital Cinematograpy clients and camera owners. He sets up special appointments,
for camera alignments, and helps answer technical questions from film people
learning digital cinematography cameras. In addition to that, he spends some
of his spare time writing and creating web pages to learn how to write them.
