Michiru/Sailor Neptune Biography
Michiru is a kind and sophisticated girl. She is pretty formal and is fairly quiet. She is nice to everyone(with the exception on the Witches 5 people) and is a wonderful artist. She plays the violin beautifully and paints very well too. She has a very close relationship with Haruka(Sailor Uranus). They met on a cruise boat and it was then that Haruka's identity as a Sailor Scout was reviled.
As Sailor Neptune she is a pretty good fighter. Her weapons all have to do with water. She has Neptune Deep Submerge which sends a huge wave of water over the enemy. As a member of the Outer Scouts, she is a little different from Serena/Sailor Moon and the Inner Scouts. Her job isn't to protect the Earth from evil but to find the three Talisments that are in the pure hearts of three people. Even though the Outer Scouts help the Inner Scouts sometimes, I think they think the Inner Scouts just get in their way.
Our Thoughts
I (Camo Cargo) have never seen a show with Michiru, but I have read some stuff about her and I think she is really cool. Even if it is implied that she is a lesbian(which I think is too bad), I think she is really a great character. She was the first of the Outer Scouts to know they were a Sailor Scout. I think it is too bad that the Inner and Outer Scouts don't get along better. I think they could learn a lot from each other. But even though I haven't read very many things about the last episodes with them in it and they may come together later in the seasons. If you really want to learn more about the Outer Scouts and how they come into the picture go to Castle in the Sky Sailor Moon. It has wonderful illustrated episode summaries. Over all I give Sailor Neptune a 7 and her weapons a 6.
I (Star Funk) have also never seen a show wiht Michiru, but I have also read the illustrated episode summaries at Castle in the Sky Sailor Moonand she seems really awesome. She is a painter which is really cool. She is very formal, proper, and graceful. I wish I could be that. The only thing that turns me off about her is that it was implied that she was a lesbian. I don't think that is right but I respect the Japanese culture that says this is somewhat acceptable and I will try not to think of it and like her for who she is. I give her an 8 and her weapons an 8 1/2.
