In the name of god, Amen the xxj th day of December 1625 I Richard Nevinson of Faversham gentleman beeing sicke of bodie but of perfect remembrance I thanke my god therefore doe make this my last will and testament in manner and forme followinge. ffirst I Committ my soule into the handes of allmightie god and my bodie to the earth to be interred in fitt and decent manner Item I give to the poore of Faversham twentie shillinges Item I will that my lease wh I have of the landes called the Measendiene Brake lieing in Ruckinge shall be sould for the best price that may be had and the money thereof arisinge to be towardes the payment of my debts and the residue to be putt out by marie my wife for the best profitt and that profitt to be for the limaying vxx of my sonne Richard and my twoe daughters mary and Anne untill my said sonn shall be of the age of xxj yeares and my said daughters of the age of xix yeeres and I will that when my said twoe daughters shall accomplish their said ages of xix years then I will that the said overplus of the price of the said lease shall be paid unto my said twoe daughters equally between them as they shall seually accomplish their said ages and I make and ordayne the said Mary my loving wife to bee my sole executrix of this my present last will and testament And I further will that yf my wife shall happen to marry before such age of my said daughters that then my said wife shall before such marriadge give sufficient securitie for the payment of my said daughters porcons as above The residue of all my goodes and chattells I give unto the said Mary my wife And this I do declare and publish to bee my last will and testament revokinge all former willes and testaments and .... .eere... sett my hand and seall ye day and yeere above written Richard Nevinson present att the sealing subscribing & publication heereweth the daie and yeere first above written Nicholas Nevinson Thomas Bennet Lambard Chosnell

In the name of God amen I Mariye Nevinson the unprofitable servant of the Lorde beeing sick in bodie but thankes bee unto god in good and perfect remembrance doe make and ordayne this my last will and testament in manner and forme followinge ffirst I doe freely and willingly deliver my soule into the handes of god my creator having assured hope by the death of Christ my onely and alone Savior that the Lord .. thereby will redeem the same and place it in glory with his blessed Savior And for my body I Comend it to the earth whereof it came to bee buried in the Churchyard of Sittingbourne Item I give and bequeath unto the poore Widdowes and fatherless Children of the parish of Sittingbourne beforesaid the some of ffiftie shillinges to bee paid unto them by myne Executor within one moneth after my decease Item I give and bequeath unto my two daughters Mary Nevinson and Ann Nevinson Twoe hundred poundes in goode and lawfull moneyof England yt beeing the profitt of a lease ... to be sould by the last will and testament of my late husband Richard Nevinson deceased for the same purpose which said somes of twoe hundred poundes shall bee paid unto them by myne Executorwhen they shall accommplish their severall ages of nyneteene yeares. And if it shall happen that either of my said daughters depart this naturall life before thee shall attaine the age of nyneteene yeares and not married then my will and meaning is that the porcon of her that shall soe dye shall bee equally divided between my said daughter and my sonne Richard And further if it shall happen that both my said daughtersdepart this naturall life before they shall attayne theire severall ages of nyneteene yeares and not married then my will and meaninge is that both their said porcons that is to saie the said some of foure hundred poundes shall bee paid unto my said sonne Richard Nevinson Item I give and bequeath unto my said twoe daughters and my sonne all my plate household stuffe and other moveable except lumber to be equally divided amongst them and except my wearing apparrell and Childbed Lynnen which my will is shall be divided between my twoe daughters Item I give unto my said sonn Richard all my houses tenements orcharde gardens and land ... lyeing and beeing in Sittingbourne aforesaid and in murston or elsewhere in the whole County of Kent To have and to hold the said houses tenements orcharde gardens and Landes unto my said sonn Richard and his heires from and immediately after hee shall attaine the age of ffoure And twentie yeares for and provided allwaies that yf my son shall require or recover by same any some or somes of money from myne Executor ... my daughters out of my personall estate so bequeathed to my daughters as is before ... otherwise then is before to him lymited then my full intent will and meaning is that my said daughters shall enter upon the said houses tenements Orchards gardens and landes and the same shall have and ... untill they shall ... of the profitte of the said houses tenements orcharde gardens ... some or somes of money as hee shall so recover from them Item I give unto my said sonne Richard my ... Item I give unto each of my Tenante ... ... shillinges a peece to bee paid by my Executor within one moneth after my decease Item I give and bequeath unto my loving ffreind and neighbour Henry Parmel of Sittingbourne aforesaid whome I make and ordaine the Executor of this my last will and testament the some of ten poundes of lawfull money of England And my wills ... and ... is that my said Executor shall have the tuition Custodye being ... and disposing of my said Children untill they shall ... accomplishe their severall ages before mentioned And further my Executor shall receive and take the profitt of my said landes and tenements for and toward the educacon plaieing out and bringing upp of my said sonn Richard and the profitt of my personall estate and money before bequeathed unto my said daughters for and toward their educacon and bringing upp unto their said severall ages And then my said Executor shall give unto them and every of them ... ... accomplishe such profitt as shall arise or growe due unto them every ... any of them either by reason of my said landes profitt of the said ffoure hundred poundes or other personall estate or money which shall come unto his handes over and above the said ffower hundres poundes And further that ... my said Executor shall paii unto them ...of them as shall have right therto such somes or overplus of money as shall remaine in his handes.
