This the last Will and Testament of me Stephen Nevison of Bishop Auckland in the County of Durham Weaver I give and devise to my dear wife Margaret Nevison all these my freehold Dwellinghouses or tenements with the Yard Garden and appurtenances behind the same situate on the East side of Newgate Street in Bishop Auckland aforesaid as the same are now in my own possession and in the respective occupations of Joseph Baxter Christopher Swinbank and Jane Newton as my Tenants to hold the same unto my said wife Margaret Nevison for and during the term of her natural life and from and after her decease I give and devise the same Dwellinghouses or tenements Yard Garden and Appurtenances unto my son John Nevison of Winston in the said County of Durham Schoolmaster his heirs and assigns for ever Subject and chargeable nevertheless with the payment of the legacy or sum of Thirty pounds to my Grand-daughter Margaret Hercules at the end of six calendar months next after the decease of my said wife Margaret Nevison all such sum and sums of money as I may be possessed of or which shall or may be due to me upon any notes bonds of other securities at the time of my decease and all my household Goods and Furniture and all other my personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and whereso- ever to hold the same unto my said wife for her Own use for and during her natural life Subject nevertheless with the payment of my just Debts Funeral and Testamentary Expenses and from and after her decease and such payments made as aforesaid I Give and Bequeath all and singular my said personal Estate and Effects or so much thereof as shall be then remaining unto and amongst my three children Joseph Nevison, Ann the wife of Francis Furby and Elizabeth the wife of Joseph Hardy their respective Executors, Administrators and assigns in equal shares and proportions. I constitute and appoint the said John Nevison and Francis Furby joint Executors of this my Will In Witness whereof I have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and seal this first day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and thirty three.
