    married Henry Preston BARRETT of Hampshire County, WV, had at  
    least 2 sons (Clarence Arthur BARRETT b. 1876, m. Nettie Rachel
    SELL; Charles Mortimer BARRETT n. 1874, m.Effie Maude SELL, 
    Nettie's sister), they settled in Winchester VA.  "Maggie" had
    several brothers and a sister who are identified in a picture
    from ~ 1907- Brook, Lew(Lewis?) with wife Maggie and son Lyle,
    and George, sister Dora Morgan.  If anyone can help with 
    Margaret Ann and/or Henry I would appreciate it.


2.  Still looking for HAWKINS in the Preston County area of WV.  My
    gggggrandfather was William HAWKINS b.~ 1740- up until recently
    thought he was from VA then>>WV.  Have learned from another
    researcher he might have come from MD to Bedford PA, and then
    on to WV.  William had 12 children: James, Nancy(WILLIAMSON),
    Margaret Jane(YATES), Walter, Jesse, Oliver, William, Isaac,
    Sarah(CHESTER/HILL), John, Thomas, and my ggggrandfather

8.   I'm working on the ancestors of Mary WYATT who married John 
     HAWKINS ~ 1743 in old Granville Co., NC.  John was the son of
     Philemon HAWKINS and wife Ann Eleanor HOWARD from Devonshire,
     who died in VA, of the Sir John HAWKINS line. I'd like to know

9.   Charles Wesley HAWKINS/HOCKINS is listed on the 1870 census for
     Scioto Co., OH, with wife Hannah Sidnet.  Charles and Hannah
     moved to MO somewhere between 1870 and 1880.  Still seeking info
     about Charles' father, William HAWKINS.  I have a William in MO
     in 1880 who could be the right age to be Charles' father, but
     would like verification.  Also found Hannah Sidney's parents,

     Who was Celia(Cely)Ann's father? Was it possibly William or
     Benjamin?  William was listed in the 1820 Early Co. GA census,
     listed on the same page as Jeremiah FOWLER; Benjamin was on the
     same page next household to a John FOWLER, both older than Celia

12.  Stuck, stuck, stuck! That's where FBrody411@aol.com is with Oscar
     HAWKINS born in 1865 in Indiana.  He married Fannie HURD who was
     born in IL in 1870.  Oscar is the son of a Cherokee woman, name
     unknown- the Dawes Enrollment cannot give me a conclusive answer.
     Census records don't say where in Indiana Oscar is from, but all
     indications lead to believing he was from the Northwest area.


13.  Sarah HAWKINS married William COOK in Union District, SC 
     10-10-1805.  They moved to MS, then to AL.  I would like to
     document Sarah's parentage, also who Sarah and William's children

14.  Does anyone have info about Dr. Alexander Stephens HAWKINS b.
     Rossville, GA ~ 1853?  He is buried in Monette, MO, and so is
     his 3rd wife Sarah C. LASSITER b. ~1-1-1873.  I believe his
     parents were John HAWKINS b. NC and Elizabeth(?)HAWKINS b. GA.
     Who were Sarah LASSITER'S parents? Proof of Alexander's parents
     and grandparents? Family stories related how you could see the
     Battle of Chickamauga from the front yard of Dr. A.S. HAWKINS
     father's farm in the Lookout Mountain area, also how the family  
     home was burned to the ground when Sherman made his infamous

16.  Trying to find info on grandfather, Richard(nmi)HAWKINS b late

     TN he married my grandmother Inez MAYO.  Their son Kenneth Mayo
     HAWKINS was b. 2-1-1900 Sweetwater TN, married Dorothy McKEEVER.
