Put oil in all the lamps
New batteries for the flashlights
We're ready to set up camp

Go to the top of the closet
Bring out the monopoly board
Extra hay for the horses
A cover for the old ford

The snowflakes now have started
softly falling through the air
The sleighs are freshly polished
The mittens ready for wear

These times they are so special
And we hold them oh so dear
Eagerly anticipating
