Why do
you like IRC- It's a good laugh, beats the hell outta working and it's
cheaper than the pub
Best IRC
experience - Without mentioning any sexual occurances ( don't quote that),
probably getting to meet the guys over in america
Why you
like being an OP - Coz kicking is a laugh and the arguments lamers give
afterwards gives me a giggle, i enjoy the responsibility to keep a channel
running nicely and like being in control (even if sassy did take my op
virginity hehehe)
The best
thing abou Chatzone - Lots of the old friendly regs there, a triviaaaaaaaaaaaa
channel but on the downside, i lost my ascii in my nick and i can't have
my full nickname (sulk)
The most
important thing IRC has taught you - That not everything in black and white
makes sense and people can bullshit, but at the end of the day, there are
some real people, good people at the other end of the phone line enjoying
it as much as you are.
Hobbies
or Things you are proud of- Can i mention drinking ability here? I'm very
proud of my band and how successful we have become in the last 19 months
as well as my football team who are in the semi-finals for 2 cups again
this year.
Your family
... Good christian parents who brought me up well (well tried) and gave
me a good home and a good stable family unit, 2 brothers, ages 18 and 9,
both great lil guys although the eldest can't handle beer to save his life
(many a time i have found him unconcious on the floor in various parts
of our garden at 3am in winter)
Your work
or school ... I currently work as a computer tech support consultant and
when i eventually get my starting date for my new job i will be a technical
assessor, meaning that i don't get any more nasty phone calls and the pay
is much better as is the prospects - wish me luck!!
How has
IRC made an impact on your daily life? It's made a good impact i
think, i have made a great deal of friends here, some very close who will
always remain close after i leave this place. In a bad sense.. you should
see my phone bills from the last year, it's almost as much as my salary.
Damn UK comms.
What Country
you reside in- Good ol' England, I live in a small country village about
9 miles from doncaster (don't mentiont he soccer team , i know we are shit)
It's quiet in places and lively if you want it to be (of course that's
what i want) but surrounded by alot of beautiful countryside such as sherwood
forest and the yorkshire dales, and it's a damn sight better than living
in the scummy overpriced overpopulated south (ie London)
The best
day of your life - I can name quite a few, but i can't mention any of the
girl's names for confidential reasons and why exactly we didn't get any
sleep that night. Put it this way, there was no blood, sweat and
beers that night, i'll leave the rest to you.
How did
you get your IRC nickname? My youngest bro got toy story on video, i must
have seen it a million times i love it to bits
Whats the
most embarrasing thing thats happened to you on irc? Ok now this is a good
one. When i first started on irc and didn't know many people i was talking
to alot of strangers, one day this gal called samantha came on, who was
20 and lived in florida, we got talking on a daily basis, she was very
direct and had one hell of a dirty mind, one day she sent a pic, it was
completely nude, i was so shocked and the guys from work kept wanting to
see the conversations, i was naive about irc then and basically gave out
alot of personal details, including inside leg measurements etc plus
fantasies, one day i eventually asked for the address, the answer i got
was my work address "love from the lads upstairs." The whole things had
been a wind up from the guys who work upstairs, there was on samantha in
the end, even the I.T. director and my boss were in on it, they logged
it all and printed it out and presented it to me, i swear i melted, so
remember - always check that ip hehehehehhee
In real
life? Probably doing the full monty in my local pub, i got alot of comments
for that, it was funny at the time but i was very embarrassed the next
day
Whats the
funniest thing thats ever happened on irc? probably watching FT's
reaction when he found out he had been flirting with a man for many weeks.
Do you
believe in love on irc? andwhy? Well i don't think true love can exist
over a computer, you may be able to have strong emotions towards someone,
but i think that forms a building block to start with in real life, so
i guess the answer on the whole is no.
What do
you eat for breakfast? If i had a choice and no car i would make it beer,
but it's usually coffee and cereal
What kind
of undies do you wear? Bit nosey aren't we? Usually boxer shorts
or Calvin Klien briefs
Whats your
favourite movie? Platoon, it was really moving and probably the only movie
that has had me close to tears (jeeez i sound like a wuss there)
- Whats
your favourite music/song? "right here waiting" by Richard Marx, i love
to play and sing that song on my own sometimes.
What inspires
you? The desire to be the best that i possibly can in life makes me inspired
to make that extra effort to make my life that little bit better
What makes
you truly happy? 2 different situations: an attractive female companion
for a romantic night out , and about 10 pints + in a pub with all my mates
(we have the funniest times but i can't say anything more about those *classified*)
