Hook: Standard saltwater
Thread: Black
Eyes: Lead eyes
Head: Light brown cactus chenille
Tail: 4 chartreuse saddle hackles
Collar: Chartreuse hackle wound just behind cactus chenille head

Attach the lead eyes with figure-eight wraps. Leave a little room between eyes and attachment point of saddle hackles. Attach cactus chenille. wind hackle for collar, then advance cactus chenille wrapping to form the head of the fly.
