Then Subhuman (whom I met in El Ref), started a ref and well the truth be told I asked him if I could be a ref monitor there. And to my surprise he said yes. 90% of the time when I'm online you will find me in his Ref, called "Diosa".  Diosa means Goddess and there are a lot of them in Diosa.   Diosa's IP is diosa.tzo.com conference ID 4767.  Diosa is a Free ref with a 10 min time limit.

But if you would like to be a member, you can stay in the ref unlimited time.  Go see his web page at http://www.diosa-ref.com/.  It has all the information on joining and the rules you need and should abide by and some wonderful pictures of the Ref Monitors (mine too) along with some of the regulars that visit Diosa.   Diosa has some of the best looking women and the most too in CuSeeMe.  99% of all the Ref Monitors are all women.  So what are you waiting for. GO JOIN.    Sorry Subhuman its a plug but I love all the people that come into Diosa and have met some wonderful friends.  Am I boring you yet? LOL  Here is what I like to say  when Men come into the Ref and ask what the *D* means behind are names: *D* means RM in Diosa.....Diosa means goddess....where the Women Rule and the Men drool.

Listen to your *D* refmons and do what they ask-(to keep it fun for all)
Please respect all people on the reflector-(see above)
Be 18 or older-(anyone under 18 in a vid can result in us being shutdown)
You must show live vid and face, when coming on Diosa-(that's how we verify age, after they are verified..they can show whatever they want.)
Vid cappers will be banned and turned in to other refs-(bad news)
lurkers are not permitted-(we may allow them on our other refs, but not here)
Do not use audio-(this takes away from the vids)
Do not private chat unless permission is granted in public(if we all geeked, the public chat would die, and people would go elsewhere. geeking is for ref mons to regulate the ref.)
Do not DC or constantly request a DC-(this is not polite)
Do not direct, harass, ask, beg or demand people(especially females) to show themselves-(this can be considered harassment)
Do not show any children on cam-(this can shut us down)
Above All ...Be Nice and Have Fun

We ask that you refrain from using the "geek"/ "private chat" while in the ref. This function is mainly for RefMon (*D*) use. It takes away from the chat in the ref and creates lulls in the conversation. And we all know that when there is a lull we get bored!!

NOTE: Please, if you want to get CU-SeeMe, do not purchase  the Pro4.   Most reflectors (REFs) do not support it and basically the program sucks. Download CU3.1..2 Build 7.

HOW TO ADD REF'S TO YOUR PHONE BOOK

In you phone book look at the tool bar.  It says, Speed Dial, New Card, Manual Dial, Directory, Call Options, Test.  Click on New Card.  You will come to a screen and just go down and hit Next.  Here is where you will enter the Name of the Ref  that you want to enter.  Then go down to the IP Address and enter the address of the ref.  If the Ref has a cid (conference ID number) Hit Advance.  Here you will enter the conference id of the ref.  When done, hit ok then it will bring you back to the other screen and hit done.  NOW it is in your phone book. SET your rates for that ref.

HOW TO SET YOUR RATES

When you set up CU you need your rates to  be set at 14 send/28 recieve (and this you must do for all refs  that are in your phone book or that you add to your phone book, if not some refs will not let you enter until you have changed your rates).  You ask " What the hell do you mean?" When you right click on a ref in your Phonebook you will go to properties. It will open a bunch of  tabs that says Network, there you will see how you can change your rates. When you have finished setting your rates go down on that page and change your minutes, set both to 1.  NOW check you Codec and Quality.

YOU CODEC AND QUALITY

Go to the the Configuration Tab,  at the bottom of that page set your quality to 20%, this will let US see your vid better in a ref.  Also on the Configuration page is where your codec is located, Keep it on Whitepines  MJPEG.   Do not play with the others please unless you don't want anyone to see your video.   Easy.  Play around and get to know your program.  I hope this helps you all.

OK ICQ PEOPLE

I'm tired of people saying that there icq is going on and off line.   Alot of you do not know that you need to add servers.  Below are some servers and the instructions on how to install them in your icq.

 
ICQ Servers    (all port 4000)
 

To add the additional servers
 

• Bottom Left side at the ICQ button, click
• Select Preferences/servers
• Click on Add
• Enter the server number and port 4000
• Click on OK
• Repeat steps for each server
• Check the box for "Move last successful server to top of list

If you have other than ICQ98 version you will have to manually move
up the next server if ICQ goes down. ICQ98 does it automatically

Configuring installed applications to work with ICQ:

Click the Menu button in the Icq Window
Click Preferences
Click the Internet Telephony/Games/Chat tab
The Internet Telephony/Games/Chat tab enables you to add new external applications to ICQ and to configure or remove existing applications. see URL below
