FREE China job listings...

Now who said there's no such thing as a free lunch? If you know of/have heard of a job opening, post it. If you are a company seeking employees, post it. If you are looking for a job, check out the message board! The idea here is to increase the flow of information, and help employers and employees find each other -- as a free community service.

GROUND RULES (please take a second to read here first!):

What can be posted? Any job openings you know of/have. Please make sure the job is China related. Please keep your description brief and to the point (type of job, person/experience sought, availability), and leave some way for prospective employees to contact you directly (person and fax, e-mail, web site or snail mail). China Insight will not be a screening process or forwarder of mail between employers and job seekers. China Insight also holds no responsibility for the accuracy of job postings or job seeker's posted credentials. All job postings are reviewed after submittal by China Insight before being officially posted (a process that take 1-4 days). China Insight reserves the sole right to reject any submittals it deems derogatory, unclear, or not in the spirit with which this board was created.

How long will it be posted? All job postings will be posted for 30 days, after which time they will automatically drop from the site. It is your job to repost a job if this occurs.

Who can post? Anyone. Yes, anyone - whether you or the job is in China or some other country, whether you are a Fortune 500 multinational, a Chinese web site developer, or going into credit card debt trying to finance a startup.

What cannot be posted: A summary of yourself, resumes, or any information not related to this topic. China Insight reserves the sole right to reject any submittals it deems not in the spirit with which the board was created. We will not notify you if your posting is rejected; we simply will not approve it for posting.

What if I want to post my resume or I'm a company who would rather not post a listing, but scan through prospective employees? You are in luck - we've set up the China job seeker listing board as well. Check it out.

Who looks at these pages? We're still finding out, and we'll keep you informed. Obviously, people who are computer literate are checking us out. But we're primarily seeking traffic from English speaking Chinese nationals, young expats with fluent Chinese, students in the States and foreign professionals considering relocating to the PRC. On April we also added a statistical tracker service -- click here to see who's visting us! (Note that these are abbreviated statistics -- complete statistics are private access -- and have only been kept starting April 6, 1998. If you know our private password and wish to see them, check here, click here.)

How can you help us? By sending us feedback. How can this message board be better? We would love to know if you receive inquiries from your posting on our board, or if you find a job through us, so we know this is not a wasted exercise. E-mail us and let us know! China Insight has no commercial, business or economic interest in anything related to the job listing board.

Why did we set up the China job message board? Because people are looking for work and employers are looking for good staff -- and not all of us can afford to hire head hunters or spend tons of money on advertisements in papers or web sites that produce questionable results. That's why we are free; post something and see what happens. China Insight has no commerical, business or economic interest in anythign related to the job listing board. We all got help and found our jobs in China through word of mouth -- now we are expanding the forum to the web. When I asked an expat excutive how I could help him for introducing a job opening, he said: "Don't worry about it, kid. Just remember to do the same for someone else someday."

Job listing board not cutting the mustard? We're not so arrogant to think we are the only job listing in town, so make sure to check out our China job information page, which contains links to what we view as the best China related professional job listing sites/head hunters and contains an FAQ section for younger expats on how to go about the China job search.
