    REPEATING HISTORY

    History has a way of repeating itself, people, and if we will not
    learn from our Bible, perhaps we had better learn from our
    newspapers before it is too late.  Let me clarify my point:
    
    In a recent issue of The Toronto Star in an article dealing with
    two homosexuals seeking pension benefits as a couple in
    recognition of their 46-year liaison, reference was made to a
    judge who had pronounced judgment supporting male-female
    marriages.  The judge was removed from the bench after being
    found wandering, drunk and alone - or drugged? - through the
    corridors of a hotel, clad only in black undergarments - ladies'
    underwear.
    
    In the years before World War II, Hitler moved to discredit
    teachers, clergy, and any leaders who disputed his proposals. 
    Then he subjected the young people to intensive mental
    manipulation to brainwash them into acceptance of  his
    theories.  At last, he focused the hatred of his nation against his
    specified target, the Jews.  They were driven from their homes,
    their goods were confiscated, and millions of families were
    imprisoned or killed.
    
    Now we in Canada are seeing laws changed at all levels of
    government.  We are seeing children being told that if they are
    unhappy at home, the government will provide an apartment for
    them and protect them from their parents.  We are seeing
    parents being told that even raising their voice in anger to their
    offspring  is child abuse and can lead to legal repercussions.  
    
    This is the beginning of the separation of children from their
    parents, substituting reliance on the state for dependence on the
    parent or faith in God.  Once the state is recognized by the child
    as an authority figure, governmental power increases
    immeasurably.  See what your Bible has to say about this,
    because it has been predicted!
    
    We are seeing same-sex relationships being touted as politically
    acceptable and understandable.  This too has been predicted in
    the Bible.
    
    We are seeing clergy and respected youth leaders blackened by
    accusations of sex crimes against their charges, based on these
    new definitions .  Often the individuals laying charges have been
    subjected to powerful suggestive recollection therapy  which
    reveals things they had  totally forgotten - or things which took
    place only in their hypnotically-inducted memories!   Nine
    hundred such individuals came forward recently in Ontario to
    charge teachers at two Christian schools in Ontario.  Sixteen
    teachers had been sentenced at the time of this writing.  
    
    We are seeing sexual harrassment redefined to include touching,
    so that putting an arm around someone to comfort him or her
    may be construed as sexually incorrect.   By the token of these
    new laws,  when Christ took the little child upon His knee, He
    abused him by doing so!
    
    All of the above demonstrate an avalanching erosion of respect
    for authority figures.  The discredited leaders may then be jailed
    or subjected to whatever penalties society may decree - but their
    ability to influence others will be severely curtailed by the
    present blackening process.  The result can only be chaos, mob
    rule, as irresponsible governments dole out borrowed monies to
    profligates, unchallenged and unchallengable except by God.
    
    I pray that we will awaken as a nation and turn to God; that we
    will reaffirm our faith in the family as a cohesive unit; that we
    will rekindle our love for one another by drowning the
    devil-kindled flames of fear;  that we will reassess our political
    responsibilities and stand united to fight some of these
    unconscionable new laws.
    
    These are the days of Armageddon, my friends I have never met. 
    Let us go forward in the strength of the Lord and His love, to
    prepare His way - for He comes, lo, He comes!
