Israel is the only Nation who has a Covenant with GOD
By Robert O. Sanford
Israel is the only Nation who has a Covenant with God. ISRAEL IS THE ONLY NATION TO WHOM PERTAINETH THE ADOPTION, AND THE GLORY, AND THE COVENANT, AND THE LAW, AND THE SERVICE OF GOD AND THE PROMISES OF GOD FOR SALVATION. In the following Scriptures, we have some powerful teachings that the People in the Gentile Christian Church from Rome, must hear if they are going to come "OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE", by changing their Way of Worship, and return to Worshipping the True God, the God of Israel, the Jewish Christ, not the christ of Babylonian. The Salvation from the God of Israel, the Lord Jesus Christ, is only found by keeping the Covenants that the King of the Jews, the Lord Jesus Christ, made and Sealed with His own Blood. The people under the Conenant, are the only people under the Blood of Jesus Christ. The people before the coming of the Jewish Messiah, Jesus Christ, were all saved by Him by keeping the His Blood Covenant, God gave to Moses. After the Jewish Messiah came, all people are still saved by the Blood of Jesus Christ, but only if they have accepted the New Covenant He made with the House of Israel (Rom 11:3-5 KJV) "Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life. {4} But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. {5} Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace." (Heb 8:7-9 KJV) "For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. {8} For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: {9} Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord." If the Gentile Christians of the Catholic Religion and her Protestant sisters, think that they can dis-regard the God of Israel's Holy Word and "CONTINUE NOT IN MY COVENANT", they should read what The God of Israel, the Lord Jesus Christ said to Israel of the Old and New COVENANT. , "and I regarded them not, saith the Lord." (Heb 3:18-19 KJV) "And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? {19} So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief." (Heb 4:1-2 KJV) "Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. {2} For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it." There is only One Gospel in the entire Bible. There is not One Gospel for Roman Christian and a different One for the Jewish Christians. There is only One Gospel in the Bible, and that one Gospel, is the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ that He received from His Father, the God of Israel. Both the Old and New Testaments are the Last Wills and Testaments of Jesus Christ. He Sealed them both of them with His Death and His Blood on the Cross. (Acts 4:12 KJV) "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." To say that there is another Way of being Saved by the God of Israel, without being obedient to the keeping of His Covenant, the One written in the Bible that He Sealed with the Blood of Jesus Christ, is to have a faith that is foreign to Christian Judaism. In our endeavour to believe God for His Salvation, that puts us into the Kingdom of God, we must determine that we are going to believe the Word of God, and do what the Word of God is teaching us in the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, that the Lord Jesus Christ, preached. (Mat 3:1-2 KJV) "In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, {2} And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." (John 18:36 KJV) "Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence." The Kingdom, of the God of Israel, is spoken of One Hundred Fifty Eight times in the New Covenant. (1 Pet 2:5 KJV) "Ye also, as lively stones, ARE BUILT UP A SPIRITUAL HOUSE, AN HOLY PRIESTHOOD to offer up spiritual sacrifices, ACCEPTABLE TO GOD BY JESUS CHRIST." To believe any other Gospel than the Gospel of the Spiritual Kingdom of the God of Israel, that Jesus Christ and Paul Preached, is death according to their Gospel. The Gospel of the Kingdom of God, is the Gospel of the Spiritual Nation of Israel, not the physical. (Gal 1:6-10 KJV) "I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: {7} Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. {8} But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. {9} As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. {10} For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ." All though Sunday Christians preach from the Jewish Bible, they pervert it by their Pagan believes and practices. THE PROMISE OF entering GOD'S ETERNAL KINGDOM, WAS ONLY MADE TO THE SPIRITUAL PERSON WHO IS BORN AGAIN OF CHRIST. (Rom 9:6-8 TLB) "Well then, HAS GOD FAILED TO FULFILL HIS PROMISES TO THE JEWS? No! (For these promises are only to those who are truly Jews.) And not everyone born into a Jewish family is truly a Jew! {7} Just the fact that they come from Abraham doesn't make them truly Abraham's children. For the Scriptures say that THE PROMISES APPLY ONLY TO ABRAHAM'S SON ISAAC AND ISAAC'S DESCENDANTS, though Abraham had other children too. {8} This means that not all of Abraham's children are children of God, but only those who believe the promise of salvation which he made to Abraham." (John 8:39 KJV) "They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham." (Gen 26:5 KJV) "Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws." (Heb 3:17-19 KJV) "But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? {18} And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? {19} So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief." The carnal people in Physical Israel did not obey the God of Israel and they bowed their knees before Baal in Baal Worship. The carnal Israelites were not saved, but destroyed by their God because of their Baal Worship. Baal worship is worshipping any other gods than the one true God of Israel. To celebrate any Pagan Holiday from the Pagan Roman Empire is Baal worship. (Rom 9:1-5 NASB) "I am telling the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit, {2} that I have great sorrow and unceasing grief in my heart. {3} For I could wish that I myself were accursed, separated from Christ for the sake of MY BRETHREN, MY KINSMAN ACCORDING TO THE FLESH, {4} WHO ARE ISRAELITES, TO WHOM BELONGS THE ADOPTION AS SONS AND THE GLORY AND THE COVENANT AND THE GIVING OF THE LAW AND THE TEMPLE SERVICE AND THE PROMISES, {5} whose are the fathers, and FROM WHOM IS THE CHRIST ACCORDING TO THE FLESH, who is over all, God blessed forever. Amen." It is only to the "ISRAELITES, TO WHOM BELONGS THE ADOPTION AS SONS". One cannot become a Son of the God of Israel, unless he is an Israelite. If God Son, Jesus Christ, is a Spiritual Israelite, that all His Sons born of Him must also be Spiritual Israelites also. One can only reproduces after His own Kind. It also said that the "COVENANT" belongs to the Spiritual Israelite. How did one become a Spiritual Israelite? By beliving in the GOD OF ISRAEL, and KEEPING HIS COVENANT. WHO IS A SPIRITUAL JEW? "he is a Jew, which is one inwardly." SIN HAS BEEN CUT OUT OF THE LIFE HE LIVES. (Rom 2:28-29 KJV) "For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: {29} But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God." (Rom 3:1-2 KJV) "WHAT ADVANTAGE THAN HATH THE JEW ? or what profit is there of circumcision? {2} Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God." (John 4:22-24 KJV) "Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. {23} But the hour cometh, AND NOW IS, WHEN THE TRUE WORSHIPPERS SHALL WORSHIP THE FATHER IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. {24} God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." One cannot Truly Worship the Spirit of Life, called Christ, unless he, himself is living or trying to live, the same life style that the Son of God, Jesus Christ lived and taught. (1 Pet 1:14-17 NASB) "As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, {15} but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; {16} because it is written, "YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY." {17} And if you address as Father the One who impartially judges according to each man's work, conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your stay upon earth;" Here Peter makes a clear Statement, that God will judge every mans works, therefore we should Fear God's Judgement of the ones who transgress His Holy Covenant. (Heb 3:14-19 KJV) "FOR WE ARE MADE PARTAKERS OF CHRIST, IF WE HOLD THE BEGINNING OF OUR CONFIDENCE STEDFAST UNTO THE END; {15} While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. {16} For some, when they had heard, did provoke: how beit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses. {17} But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? {18} And to WHOM SWARE HE THAT THEY SHOULD NOT ENTER INTO HIS REST, BUT TO THEM THAT BELIEVED NOT? {19} So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief." Sin in the Jewish Bible is always defined as transgressing the Holy Laws of God's contained in the Blood Covenant Jesus Christ made with Israel. (Heb 4:1-3 KJV) "Let us therefore fear, lest, A PROMISE BEING LEFT US OF ENTERING INTO HIS REST, any of you should seem to come short of it. {2} FOR UNTO US WAS THE GOSLEL PREACHED, AS WELL AS UNTO THEM;' BUT THE WORD PREACHED DID NOT PROPHET THEM, NOT BEING MIXED WITH FAITH in them that heard it. {3} For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world." (Psa 132:12-14 NASB) ""If your sons will keep My covenant, And My testimony which I will teach them, Their sons also shall sit upon your throne forever." {13} For the LORD has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His habitation. {14} "This is My resting place forever; Here I will dwell, for I have desired it." All these promises are contained in the Blood Covenant and only pertain to those under the Blood Covenant. (Rom 2:28-29 KJV) "For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: {29} But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God." (John 4:22-24 KJV) "Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. {23} But the hour cometh, AND NOW IS, WHEN THE TRUE WORSHIPPERS SHALL WORSHIP THE FATHER IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. {24} God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." In the above Scriptures, we can plainly see that Salvation is not in the Physical Jewish Nation or in their traditional teachings from carnal man, but is found in the Spiritual Jews from all Nations who has joined themselves to the God of Israel and keep His Covenant. (Eph 2:12-13 NASB) "remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. {13} But now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ." All who have truly accepted the Christ of Israel, by keeping the Covenant, have CUT sin out of the live they are now living. Jesus told the Samaritan Lady that all the True Worshippers, no matter where they live, could and would Worship the God of Israel by the way they lived their lives. Not by just believing in a God. One can believe Jesus concerning this Truth, or one can believe the Protestants of the Catholic Churches. The Roman Pagan religions have taken the Books of the Covenant, given to the people of Israel, along with the name the Jewish Messiah, and mixed them in with their pagan believes and practices. The Catholic Churches, nor the Reform Catholic Churches, have the Pure Faith of the God of Israel because of this Pagan mixture. The Holy Life of God the Father, and the Lord Jesus, as taught in God's Word, has no mixture in it.. The First Four Commandments in the Blood Covenant forbid such mixtures under the penalty of death. "Sin is the transgression of the Laws of God contained in the Blood Covenant. (1 John 3:4) (Ezek 33:18-19 NASB) ""When the righteous turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, then he shall die in it. {19} "But when the wicked turns from his wickedness and practices justice and righteousness, he will live by them." The True Church of God, the Spiritual House of the Commonwealth of Israel, is not polluted with a mixture of pagan believes and doctrines. The God of Israel, Jesus Christ, divorced the Physical Nation of Israel as His potential Bride and People, because of this very practice. (Jer 3:8 KJV) "And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also." How can we Christians who say they we have accepted the Jewish Faith, delivered to us in their Holy Bible, claim to the people of God? We are doing the exact same thing that God of Israel Divorced the Physical Nation of Israel for? We see prove of the actions God took in dealing with His people, Physical Israel, who pollute themselves with pagan believes and customs in the History of Israel, written in the Old Testament for our admonishment. THE REASON THE GOD OF ISRAEL DIVORCED (2 Chr 36:14 KJV) "Moreover all the chief of the priests, and the people, transgressed very much after all the abominations of the heathen; and polluted the house of the LORD which he had hallowed in Jerusalem." (Ezek 14:11 KJV) "That the house of Israel may go no more astray from me, neither be polluted any more with all their transgressions; but that they MAY BE MY PEOPLE, AND I MAY BE THEIR GOD, saith the Lord GOD." (Ezek 20:13-14 KJV) "But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness: they walked not in my statutes, an they despised my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; and my sabbaths they greatly polluted: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them. {14} But I wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted before the heathen, in whose sight I brought them out." Is there a warning in the New Testament about people who call themselves Christians and worship Pagan gods. Yes there is. (1 Cor 3:16-17 KJV) "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? {17} If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are." If one of God's people defiles God's Life in him, by living a life that is not pleasing to Him by Worshipping the Pagan gods, God said He would destroy that Temple of His. The Blood of Jesus Christ that covers our sins is the blood that sealed the covenant. Pagans believed and taught that the offering of an animal or human sacrifice, and the shedding of its blood, pays for their sins committed. Pagans do not teach that repenting of their sins and turning from it, was necessary to have the sin forgiven by the god they were making their sacrifice to. The Roman Church actually sold indulgences for the very purpose of allowing a man to kill another man. By buying an indulgence from the Catholic Church, one could do certain requested sins and be free from the judgement of their gods. Most people that follow the Reform Catholic Faith as Protestants, still to this day, believe that the death and shedding of the Blood of Jesus Christ, frees them from all their sins that they will ever commit. Past, present and future. They say that as long as they believe in the Blood of Jesus Christ, their sins are covered as long as they keep believe. The question that we must ask ourselves who follower the Jewish Religion, as taught by the Prophets and Jesus Christ, is, does God Holy Word teach such a thing? If it does, where is it found in the Pure Word of God? If it does not teach such a thing, then what does the Word of God teaching us about the Blood of Jesus Christ that was shed at the cross? We will try and find the answer by using all the scriptures that speak to this matter. (Ezek 23:17 KJV) "And the Babylonians came to her into the bed of love, and they defiled her (Israel) with their whoredom, and she (Israel) was polluted with them, and her mind was alienated from them." Did the Blood on the First Covenant cover the sins of these people who were deceived by the Babylonian Whore who defiled Isreal, when Israel joined her in her bed of love to their Pagan gods? Will the Blood of Jesus Christ free the Christian who go to bed with the Antichtist of Pagan Rome today and make love to their gods, in their Churches? THE BLOOD OF THE COVENANT. (Gen 31:51-54 TLB) "This heap," Laban continued, "stands between us as a witness of our vows that I will not cross this line to attack you and you will not cross it to attack me. {52} {53} I CALL UPON THE GOD OF ABRAHAM and Nahor, and of their father, TO DISTROY EITHER ONE OF US WHO DOES." So Jacob took oath before the mighty God of his father, Isaac, to respect the boundary line. {54} Then Jacob presented a sacrifice to God there at the top of the mountain, and invited his companions to a feast, and afterwards spent the night with them on the mountain." The making of a Blood Covenant and it's purpose .This scripture is the first scripture in the Bible that speaks of a sacrifice being offered before the God of Abraham to Seal a Covenant. Jesus Christ killed a lamb to Seal His Covenant with Adam and Eve also. We find that it was not a sacrifice to cover the sins of the individual, but a Blood Sacrifice that Seal the Vows between two parties The party that broke their part of the vow was to be destroy by the God of Israel. The Old and New Covenant that God made with His people, Israel, were Blood Covenant. In both Covenant the penalty for braking the Covenant was death to the transgressor of the Agreement. Not Salvation. (1 John 3:3-4 KJV) "And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. {4} Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for SIN IS THE TRANSGRESSION OF THE LAW." (Ezek 18:4 KJV) "Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: THE SOUL THAT SINNETH, IT SHALL DIE." We have in this first Blood sacrifice made to cover the two parties of the vow, the beginning of a principal that will be found in all covenants sealed with Blood. That principal is this; the party who brakes the covenant agreement, will be destroyed by the God of Abraham. A vow or a covenant made between two or more parties, contain the laws of the agreement within it, that each party is bound by. For either party to brake the laws in the agreement, brings the penalty agreed to in the agreement. In all covenant made by God with mankind, God is never the one to brake His part of the Covenant. It is our faith in our God, not to brake His part of the Covenant that allows Him to Saves us. It is always man who does not have the faith to fulfil his part of the Covenant. It is God's Faithfulness to His Covenant, that forces God to put the yransgressor to death. The Blood of Jesus Christ that Sealed the Covenant God made with His people Israel will save the person who keeps it. However, the Blood of Jesus Christ that seals the Covenant, forces a Righreius God, to destroy the person who brakes it. (Heb 10:31 NASB) "It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God." (1 John 3:4 KJV) "Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law." (Ezek 17:19 KJV) "Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; As I live, surely mine oath that he hath despised, and my covenant that he hath broken, even it will I recompense upon his own head." (Ezek 18:4 KJV) "Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die." The next Covenant we read about in the Bible is the Covenant that God gave to Moses for the people to live by, in order for them to be saved from the sins of the Babylonian Pagan Religions. Here again this Covenant was sealed with Blood of animals that represented the Blood of Jesus Christ. The penalty for transgressing this Covenant was also death. The Covenant was given in Exodus 20, and we know it as the Ten Commandment Covenant. (Exo 24:6-8 KJV) "And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basins; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar. 7} And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient. {8} And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words." The Blood was sprinkled on the Altar, thus Sealing God on His behalf to keep the Covenant. The Blood was sprinkled on the people after they had said; "all the Lord God had said, they would do and be obedient." Both parties had Sealed a Covenant that brought death to the party that failed to keep his part of the Agreement. In this scripture, we read that the blood of the sacrifices which represented the Blood of Jesus Christ, was first sprinkled on the Altar. After that we read that the "Book of the Covenant" was read to all the people, and all the people said that they would be obedient to do all the that was written in the Book of the Covenant. Only after the people had confirmed that they had accepted the terms of the Covenant that God had made with them, for their salvation, did Moses sprinkle the Blood on the people. In so doing, we find that the Covenant God made with the people, and the Covenant that the People made with God that day, were both Sealed with the Blood of Jesus Christ. The Blood of Jesus Christ was on the Covenant, to Seal the Covenant as an unbreakable contract. He had obligated Himself to save every man born on earth, who would join themselves to the Commonwealth of Israel and enter into the Covenant relationship that He had given to His people, Israel, for their salvation from their sin nature. He had also Covenanted with every man to destroy them if they would not keep the terms agreed to in the Covenant. (Eccl 12:13-14 KJV) "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. {14} For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil." (Eph 2:10-14 KJV) "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. {11} Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; {12} That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: {13} But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. {14} For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;" Only when we Gentiles have joined the Commonwealth of Israel and become a fellow citizen with God's Spiritual People in God's Spiritual Nation, are we able to truly say that we have accept the Covenant God made with His people Israel. He made this Covenant only with His People called Israel. In order for us to accept their Covenant, we must become part of the Commonwealth of Israel. Only when we accept citizenship in Spiritual Israel by joining ourselves to the Christ of Israel, can His Covenant He made with Israel, become our Covenant. We are only under the Blood of Jesus Christ when we are under His Covenant that He sealed with His own Blood. The Blood was only sprinkled on His people who have repent of their sins and promissed to do only His Will. When we have enter His Covenant, we are Sealed with the Blood of Jesus Christ. Only when this happens, are we made One with the Spiritual House of Israel. Only when we are One with the Israel of God, by us agreeing to keeping His Covenant, do we become one of His people. We are then made partakers of all the promises written in His Covenant. We are His people because we hava a contract with Him, Sealed with His Blood, and we have keep or are keeping our part of the contract. (Ezek 44:6-9 KJV) "And thou shalt say to the rebellious, even to the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O ye house of Israel, let it suffice you of all your abominations, {7} In that ye have brought into my sanctuary strangers, uncircumcised in heart, and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in my sanctuary, to pollute it, even my house, when ye offer my bread, the fat and the blood, and they have broken my covenant because of all your abominations. {8} And ye have not kept the charge of mine holy things: but ye have set keepers of my charge in my sanctuary for yourselves. {9} Thus saith the Lord GOD; No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that is among the children of Israel." In this scripture, we find that the People of Israel had not keep the Covenant that God had made with them. In making the Covenant, He sealed both the Sanctuary and the people with His Blood, thereby making a Way for the people of Israel to be redeemed from their sins through their obedience to keep the Covenant. "and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient". (Exo 24:7) (John 1:12-13 KJV) "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: {13} Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." Through this Blood Covenant God made with Israel, they and the strangers who come into the covenant of promise, have a hope of salvation, and were again joined to the God of Creation. They could, through their obedience to keep the Covenant Sealed with the Blood of Jesus Christ, enter into the Kingdom of God. In the sight of God, the Sanctuary and the people are One. Israel had failed to keep both the Sanctuary and themselves clean from the sins that defiles God's Temple. This is made clear in the New Testament when the Sanctuary is declared to be the people themselves. (1 Cor 3:16-17 KJV) "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? {17} If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are." How did the Jewish people defiled the Temple of God? All people are the Temple of God because it is His Life that is living in them, giving them life. If you defile His life in you with Idol Worship, the Worship of Pagan gods, He said, He would destroy you. They had allowed strangers, who were not circumcised in their hearts, to enter the Holy Temple of God in Jerusalem and be partakers of God's Sanctuary. The Israelites themselves were still claiming to be the people of God even after they failed to keep their part in the Covenant as the people of God, purchased with His Blood. (Acts 20:28 KJV) "Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood." We must not conclude that just because the Israelites were sprinkled with the Blood of Jesus Christ, the had salvation through His Blood. God latter destroyed these same people who failed to keep the Blood Covenant. (1 Cor 3:17) "If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are." We see that one is not saved only by what Jesus Christ did for them. We must respond to the voice of God in His Word and do what He tells us to do. We must do our part, we must keep His Covenant. The Blood of Jesus Christ Seals us unto His Eternal Life if we do. If we don't keep it, the Blood Seals our death. God cannot brake His own Blood Covenant or He, Himself would be a sinner by His own definition. (Rom 2:24-25 KJV) "For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written. {25} For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision." (Rom 1:16 KJV) "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." (John 4:22 KJV) "Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews." (Rom 2:28-29 KJV) "For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: {29} But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God." (John 3:5-7 KJV) "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. {6} That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. {7} Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again." SOME OF THE PLACE IN THE NEW TESTAMENT THAT REFERS TO THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST. (Mat 26:27-29 TLB) "And he took a cup of wine and gave thanks for it and gave it to them and said, "Each one drink from it, {28} FOR THIS IS MY BLOOD, SEALING THE NEW COVENANT. IT IS POURED OUT TO FORGIVE THE SINS OF MULTITUDES. {29} Mark my words--I will not drink this wine again until the day I drink it new with you in my Father's Kingdom." We find in this passage that the message about the Blood of Jesus Christ is the same as the message in the Old Testament. The Blood of Jesus Christ was shed for the purpose of sealing the New Testament that brings remissions from the sins of thos's who are now obedient to keep the Covenant. (Rom 12:21 KJV) "Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good." (1 John 5:4-5 KJV) "For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. {5} Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?" If by the Grace of God, given to us in the teachings of Christ, we are grafted into the Commonwealth of Israel, we will also have taken hold of the Covenant that God made for His People ,Israel. There is only One Covenant given to God's People for their salvation, and that One Covenant was given to Israel. If we have taken hold of that one Covenant, we will overcome the sin in us by our Faithful Obedience to keep God's Covenant. See Exodus 20: 1-17. But if we Gentiles are not grafted into the Commonwealth of Israel, we will continue to live apart from the God of Israel. The Spiritual Israel of God, that was preached to both the Jews and the Gentiles. If we do that, we are not a part of God's Kingdom. We must remember that the Jews and the Gentiles that has accepted the Faith of Jesus Christ as their Faith, are both of the One and same Family, called the Body of Christ. Only the God of Israel, the God who created the universe in six days and rested on the Seventh day, is the True God to worship. To worship any other god is an abomination to the One True God. (Exo 20:2-6 NASB) "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. {3} "You shall have no other gods before Me. {4} "You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. {5} "You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me, {6} but showing lovingkindness to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments." (Eph 2:14-19 NASB) "For He Himself is our peace, who made both groups into one, and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall, {15} by abolishing in His flesh the enmity, which is the Law of commandments contained in ordinances, that in Himself He might make the two into one new man, thus establishing peace, {16} and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by it having put to death the enmity. {17} AND HE CAME AND PREACHED PEACE TO YOU WHO WERE FAR AWAY, AND PEACE TO THOSE WHO WERE NEAR; {18} for through Him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father. {19} So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God's household," We can see from the above scripture and those below, that the Citizenship we receive when we become part of Spiritual Israel, is not of this world. When we join ourselves to the Commonwealth of Israel, and keep the Covenant Laws of Israel, we receive citizenship in the Kingdom that we keep the laws of. (Phil 3:20 NASB) "For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;" (Heb 8:10-11 NASB) ""FOR THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAYS THE LORD: I WILL PUT MY LAWS INTO THEIR MINDS, AND I WILL WRITE THEM UPON THEIR HEARTS. AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE. {11} "AND THEY SHALL NOT TEACH EVERYONE HIS FELLOW CITIZEN, AND EVERYONE HIS BROTHER, SAYING, 'KNOW THE LORD,' FOR ALL SHALL KNOW ME, FROM THE LEAST TO THE GREATEST OF THEM." From this scripture we see that the citizens of God's Kingdom have the Laws of God in their mind and written in their hearts (lives). Where are these laws found written for us to know what they are? They are found in the Covenant God made with Spiritual Israel for the people of God to transfer then from the written word into their lives as His Living Word by doing His will. (Rom 11:17-22 TLB) "But some of these branches from Abraham's tree, some of the Jews, have been broken off. And you Gentiles who were branches from, we might say, a wild olive tree, were grafted in. So now you, too, receive the blessing God has promised Abraham and his children, sharing in God's rich nourishment of his own special olive tree. {18} But you must be careful not to brag about being put in to replace the branches that were broken off. Remember that you are important only because you are now a part of God's tree; you are just a branch, not a root. {19} "Well," you may be saying, "those branches were broken off to make room for me, so I must be pretty good." {20} Watch out! Remember that those branches, the Jews, were broken off because they didn't believe God, and you are there only because you do. Do not be proud; be humble and grateful--and careful. {21} For if God did not spare the branches he put there in the first place, he won't spare you either. {22} Notice how God is both kind and severe. He is very hard on those who disobey, but very good to you if you continue to love and trust him. But if you don't, you too will be cut off." (John 6:53-58 KJV) "Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. {54} Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. {55} For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. {56} He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. {57} As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. {58} This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever." (Luke 4:4 KJV) "And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God."(John 4:34 KJV) "Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work." In this scripture we can see that the person who will live forever is the person who is doing the Father's will. Jesus the man, had to live by every word that came out of the Father's mouth to have the Father Life, living in Him. We to must live by every word that came out of the Father and the Son's mouth to have the Life from the Spirit of their Words, living in us. If one is not a doer of the Son's words, that He received from the Father, he is dead in his trespasses. You cannot be a Disciple of Jesus Christ without being obedience to His every Word. (John 6:63 KJV) "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." One is dead to God's Spirit living in His Words, unless one is living in His Word, by doing the will of God. (Mat 16:24-25 KJV) "Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. {25} For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it." (Acts 15:18-21 KJV) "Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world. {19} Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God: {20} But that we write unto them, THAT THEY ABSTAIN FROM POLLUTION'S OF IDOLS, AND FROM FORNICATION, and from things strangled, and from blood. {21} For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day." (Acts 17:26-30 KJV) "And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; {27} That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: {28} For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. {29} Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. {30} And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:" God is our Father through the Lord Jesus Christ We are born of Adam, and therefore the Life Force of the Father that was in the Lord Jesus Christ, who breathed His Father's Life into Adam, is the Life Force that lives in us. We were born of God's Life, therefore we ought to live the same Life that He lives with His Life that was born into us. To not live the same Holy Life, He lives, brings death from God. (1 Cor 3:16-17 KJV) "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? {17} If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are." (Acts 20:27-31 KJV) "For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. {28} Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. {29} For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. {30} Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. {31} Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears." (Acts 20:26-30 TLB) "Let me say plainly that no man's blood can be laid at my door, {27} for I didn't shrink from declaring all God's message to you. {28} "And now beware! Be sure that you feed and shepherd God's flock--his church, purchased with his blood--for the Holy Spirit is holding you responsible as overseers. {29} I know full well that after I leave you, false teachers, like vicious wolves, will appear among you, not sparing the flock. {30} Some of you yourselves will distort the truth in order to draw a following." (Rom 3:24-27 KJV) "Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: {25} Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; {26} To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. {27} Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith." Through the Blood Sacrifice of Jesus Christ, to pay, to the Father, His penalty required of the individual who transgresses His Blood Covenant, the Father is now freely able to forgive that individual. Before this can take place, "the Law of Faith" must be fulfilled. The person must have faith in Jesus Christ, who died to Seal His promise of Salivation to the person who would keep His Blood Covenant that contained His promises. The person keeping the Blood Covenant, by living the same Faithful Way, Christ, Himself, lived in keeping His Father Words, is declared righteous by God. The Lords Supper is Jewish Celebration of their (1 Cor 10:16-18 KJV) "The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? {17} For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread. {18} Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?" If we as an individual, do not eat the "Bread", the Word of God, the which is the Body of Christ, and drink in the Spirit of Life in Christ, which is His Blood, by doing His perdect will, we are not "partakers of the altar" (1 Cor 11:25-29 KJV) "After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. {26} For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord's death till he come. {27} Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. {28} But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. {29} For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body." (1 Cor 11:25-27 TLB) "In the same way, he took the cup of wine after supper, saying, "This cup is the new agreement between God and you that has been established and set in motion by my blood. Do this in remembrance of me whenever you drink it." {26} For every time you eat this bread and drink this cup you are retelling the message of the Lord's death, that he has died for you. Do this until he comes again. {27} So if anyone eats this bread and drinks from this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, he is guilty of sin against the body and the blood of the Lord." When a Jewish Christian, takes His Lords supper, the Christ of Israel, he remembers that he as an individual, has made a Blood Covenant with his God for his Salvation from sin. (Exo 31:16 NASB) "So the sons of Israel shall observe the sabbath, to celebrate the sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant." Every Sabbath we celebrate the fact that we, as a follower of Jesus Christ, the Saviour of Israel and all Strangers who have joined themselves to the Christ, have a perpetual Covenant with the Lord of Israel, for our Salvation from this death. The Sabbath it'self is a "a perpetual covenant". (Eph 1:7 TLB) "So overflowing is his kindness toward us that he took away all our sins through the blood of his Son, by whom we are saved;" The Gentiles are made partaker with Israel, if they join themselves to the Commonwealth of Israel and partake of Israel's Covenant. (Eph 2:11-15 KJV) "Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; {12} That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: {13} But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. {14} For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; {15} Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;" From this passage of Scripture, we can clearly see that the Salvation in the Jewish Bible that the Protestant, not the Catholics, claim to have their Salvation from, is not available to Gentiles. A Gentiles must who join themselves to the Covenant that the God of Israel, made with His People, Israel, to make a Way for them to overcome the sin in their lives from transgressing His Holy Life. (2 Cor 6:16 NASB) "Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, "I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE." (1 Cor 3:17 KJV) "If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. These two passages of Scripture make it very plain that if any person worship other gods than the God of Israel, who Created Mankind, the God of Israel is going to destroy them at the final judgement for their sin of Idolatry. All men without Christ only, living in them as God, still have a defiled Temple. Grace is not a License to Sin. The only Way to overcome the sin of worshipping other gods, and that is to accept the Covenant God made with Israel, and Worship Him only. Remember, He said; "I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God". (Exo 20:1-11 NASB) "Then God spoke all these words, saying, {2} "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. {3} "You shall have no other gods before Me. {4} "You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. {5} "You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me, {6} but showing lovingkindness to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments. {7} "You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain. {8} "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. {9} "Six days you shall labor and do all your work, {10} but the seventh day is a sabbath of the LORD your God; in it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter, your male or your female servant or your cattle or your sojourner who stays with you. {11} "For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day and made it holy. (Eph 2:12-15 TLB) "Remember that in those days you were living utterly apart from Christ; you were enemies of God's children, and he had promised you no help. You were lost, without God, without hope. {13} But now you belong to Christ Jesus, and though you once were far away from God, now you have been brought very near to him because of what Jesus Christ has done for you with his blood. {14} For Christ himself is our way of peace. He has made peace between us Jews and you Gentiles by making us all one family, breaking down the wall of contempt that used to separate us. {15} By his death he ended the angry resentment between us, caused by the Jewish laws that favored the Jews and excluded the Gentiles, for he died to annul that whole system of Jewish laws. Then he took the two groups that had been opposed to each other and made them parts of himself; thus he fused us together to become one new person, and at last there was peace." (Col 1:19-23 KJV) "For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; {20} And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. {21} And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled {22} In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: {23} If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;" (Col 1:12-14 TLB) "and always thankful to the Father who has made us fit to share all the wonderful things that belong to those who live in the Kingdom of light. {13} For he has rescued us out of the darkness and gloom of Satan's kingdom and brought us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, {14} who bought our freedom with his blood and forgave us all our sins." (Col 1:20-23 TLB) "It was through what his Son did that God cleared a path for everything to come to him--all things in heaven and on earth--for Christ's death on the cross has made peace with God for all by his blood. {21 This includes you who were once so far away from God. You were his enemies and hated him and were separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions, yet now he has brought you back as his friends. {22} He has done this through the death on the cross of his own human body, and now as a result Christ has brought you into the very presence of God, and you are standing there before him with nothing left against you--nothing left that he could even chide you for; {23} the only condition is that you fully believe the Truth, standing in it steadfast and firm, strong in the Lord, convinced of the Good News that Jesus died for you, and never shifting from trusting him to save you. This is the wonderful news that came to each of you and is now spreading all over the world. And I, Paul, have the joy of telling it to others." (Heb 7:25-26 TLB) "He is able to save completely all who come to God through him. Since he will live forever, he will always be there to remind God that he has paid for their sins with his blood. {26} He is, therefore, exactly the kind of High Priest we need; for he is holy and blameless, unstained by sin, undefiled by sinners, and to him has been given the place of honor in heaven." (Heb 9:15-20 KJV) "And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. {16} For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. {17} For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. {18} Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood. {19} For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, {20} Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you." (Heb 9:13-16 TLB) "And if under the old system the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of young cows could cleanse men's bodies from sin, {14} just think how much more surely the blood of Christ will transform our lives and hearts. His sacrifice frees us from the worry of having to obey the old rules and makes us want to serve the living God. For by the help of the eternal Holy Spirit, Christ willingly gave himself to God to die for our sins--he being perfect, without a single sin or fault. {15} Christ came with this new agreement so that all who are invited may come and have forever all the wonders God has promised them. For Christ died to rescue them from the penalty of the sins they had committed while still under that old system. {16} Now, if someone dies and leaves a will--a list of things to be given away to certain people when he dies--no one gets anything until it is proved that the person who wrote the will is dead." (Heb 9:18-22 TLB) "That is why blood was sprinkled (as proof of Christ's death) before even the first agreement could go into effect. {19} For after Moses had given the people all of God's laws, he took the blood of calves and goats, along with water, and sprinkled the blood over the book of God's laws and over all the people, using branches of hyssop bushes and scarlet wool to sprinkle with. {20} Then he said, "This is the blood that marks the beginning of the agreement between you and God, the agreement God commanded me to make with you." {21} And in the same way he sprinkled blood on the sacred tent and on whatever instruments were used for worship. {22} In fact we can say that under the old agreement almost everything was cleansed by sprinkling it with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins." (Heb 10:15-22 KJV) "Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, {16} This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; {17} And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. {18} Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. {19} Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, {20} By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; {21} And having an high priest over the house of God; {22} Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water." (Heb 10:17-22 TLB) "And then he adds, "I will never again remember their sins and lawless deeds." {18} Now, when sins have once been forever forgiven and forgotten, there is no need to offer more sacrifices to get rid of them. {19} And so, dear brothers, now we may walk right into the very Holy of Holies, where God is, because of the blood of Jesus. {20} This is the fresh, new, life-giving way that Christ has opened up for us by tearing the curtain--his human body--to let us into the holy presence of God. {21} And since this great High Priest of ours rules over God's household, {22} let us go right in to God himself, with true hearts fully trusting him to receive us because we have been sprinkled with Christ's blood to make us clean and because our bodies have been washed with pure water." (Heb 10:25-29 KJV) "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. {26} For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, {27} But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. {28} He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: {29} Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?" To not keep the Covenant that Jesus Christ taught and lived, and then Sealed with His own Blood and Death on the Cross, will bring swift punishment at the Judgement Set of God. "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God." (Heb 12:22-25 KJV) "But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, {23} To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, {24} And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. {25} See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:" (Heb 12:22-25 TLB) "But you have come right up into Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to the gathering of countless happy angels; {23} and to the church, composed of all those registered in heaven; and to God who is Judge of all; and to the spirits of the redeemed in heaven, already made perfect; {24} and to Jesus himself, who has brought us his wonderful new agreement; and to the sprinkled blood, which graciously forgives instead of crying out for vengeance as the blood of Abel did. {25} So see to it that you obey him who is speaking to you. For if the people of Israel did not escape when they refused to listen to Moses, the earthly messenger, how terrible our danger if we refuse to listen to God who speaks to us from heaven!" (Heb 13:11-16 TLB) "Under the system of Jewish laws, the high priest brought the blood of the slain animals into the sanctuary as a sacrifice for sin, and then the bodies of the animals were burned outside the city. {12} That is why Jesus suffered and died outside the city, where his blood washed our sins away. {13} So let us go out to him beyond the city walls (that is, outside the interests of this world, being willing to be despised) to suffer with him there, bearing his shame. {14} For this world is not our home; we are looking forward to our everlasting home in heaven. {15} With Jesus' help we will continually offer our sacrifice of praise to God by telling others of the glory of his name. {16} Don't forget to do good and to share what you have with those in need, for such sacrifices are very pleasing to him." (Heb 13:18-21 KJV) "Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly. {19} But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner. {20} Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, {21} Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen." (Heb 13:20-22 TLB) "And now may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, {21} equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he who became the great Shepherd of the sheep by an everlasting agreement between God and you, signed with his blood, produce in you through the power of Christ all that is pleasing to him. To him be glory forever and ever. Amen. {22} Brethren, please listen patiently to what I have said in this letter, for it is a short one." (1 Pet 1:2-3 TLB) "Dear friends, God the Father chose you long ago and knew you would become his children. And the Holy Spirit has been at work in your hearts, cleansing you with the blood of Jesus Christ and making you to please him. May God bless you richly and grant you increasing freedom from all anxiety and fear. {3} All honor to God, the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ; for it is his boundless mercy that has given us the privilege of being born again so that we are now members of God's own family. Now we live in the hope of eternal life because Christ rose again from the dead." (1 Pet 1:19-23 KJV) "But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: {20} Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, {21} Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. {22} Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: {23} Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever." (1 John 1:7-8 TLB) "But if we are living in the light of God's presence, just as Christ does, then we have wonderful fellowship and joy with each other, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from every sin. {8} If we say that we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and refusing to accept the truth." To not accept the Blood Covenant of Jesus Christ, or to accept it, and not walk in Light, the Truth of it's teaching, is not to know the God of Israel. (Rev 5:9-10 TLB) "They were singing him a new song with these words: "You are worthy to take the scroll and break its seals and open it; for you were slain, and your blood has bought people from every nation as gifts for God. {10} And you have gathered them into a kingdom and made them priests of our God; they shall reign upon the earth." (Rev 7:14-15 TLB) ""No, sir," I replied. "Please tell me." "These are the ones coming out of the Great Tribulation," he said; "they washed their robes and whitened them by the blood of the Lamb. {15} That is why they are here before the throne of God, serving him day and night in his Temple. The one sitting on the throne will shelter them;" (Rev 12:10-12 TLB) "Then I heard a loud voice shouting across the heavens, "It has happened at last! God's salvation and the power and the rule, and the authority of his Christ are finally here; for the Accuser of our brothers has been thrown down from heaven onto earth--he accused them day and night before our God. {11} They defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony; for they did not love their lives but laid them down for him. {12} Rejoice, O heavens! You citizens of heaven, rejoice! Be glad! But woe to you people of the world, for the devil has come down to you in great anger, knowing that he has little time." Robert Sanford |
